Vivo has released the first system update for the X200 Pro, following its global launch. The update focuses on improving security and device performance, ensuring a smoother experience for users.

The update, with firmware version ‘PD2405F_EX_A_15.0.9.23.W30,’ is 485MB in size and includes the December 2024 Google security patch, which addresses known vulnerabilities. This addition keeps the device in line with current security standards.

Other improvements include better compatibility with certain car kits, enhancements to reduce standby power consumption for improved battery life, and updates to the Albums app for better data security.
What Funtouch OS 15 Brings to the Table
The update is built on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 15, which prioritizes smoother performance and customization. The system improves app startup times and multitasking with Memory Enhancement Technology, which optimizes how memory is used in the background. Animations and transitions have been refined for a more user-friendly experience.
Funtouch OS 15 also offers many customization options, including themes, redesigned icons, and wallpapers. For gaming, Ultra Game Mode provides tools to boost performance and lets users access essential apps without leaving the game. Productivity tools, like Link to Windows, allow better integration between the phone and a PC, making tasks like file sharing easier.
Update Process and What to Expect
Vivo advises users to back up their data before updating, even though no data loss is expected. The process may cause the phone’s temperature to rise temporarily, but this will return to normal once the update is complete. The installation package will be automatically deleted afterward to save storage space.
