Dubai-based luxury device maker Caviar has introduced its latest high-end creations: the Bitcoin Edition iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Starting at $11,130, these phones are coated in 24k gold and feature detailed 3D engravings of the Bitcoin logo, along with patterns inspired by blockchain technology. The design is meant to honor Bitcoin, even though the cryptocurrency remains controversial and isn’t recognized as legal tender in many places.

In a press release, Caviar described the phones as a “luxurious tribute to the world’s leading cryptocurrency,” highlighting the blockchain patterns as symbols of digital finance’s potential. The release also has a political connection: only 47 units of the Bitcoin-themed iPhones will be made, referencing the sitting U.S. President Donald Trump, who is the 47th president of the United States of America.

Caviar explained on its website that the number 47 represents both rarity and a link to a significant figure in modern politics. The brand also provides further customization for these devices, including personal engravings on the side edges, applying logos or initials, modifying any design elements, replacing materials, adding custom shapes and elements, etc.

This isn’t Caviar’s first time creating luxury tech. The brand is known for producing limited-edition, high-end devices that combine exclusivity with unique themes. Just recently, the brand also launched the most expensive iPhone 16 Pro Max called “The Great, The Terrible, The Magnificent,” adorned with a 1kg, 18-karat gold crown inspired by Ivan the Terrible, Suleiman the Magnificent, and Charlemagne. It has a starting price of $301,070.
