The handset, which is aimed at Southeast Asian markets, such as Vietnam and Thailand, is an entry-level offering for users seeking a large display and capable cameras. The HTC Wildfire E5 Plus is designed for entry-level users, featuring a 6.745-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a notch at the top housing a 16-megapixel front camera. Its rear camera setup comprises a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Under the hood, the Wildfire E5 Plus is powered by the Unisoc T606 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage via a microSD card.

The Wildfire E5 Plus runs on Android 14 and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. For security, it offers biometric authentication through both fingerprint and facial recognition. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Available in grey and blue, the HTC Wildfire E5 Plus can be bought for 2,379,000 VND (~$93) in Vietnam. The handset is also expected to be released in Thailand later this month.
