OnePlus has started a phased rollout of the OxygenOS 15.0.0.610 update for the OnePlus Open foldable phone in North America. This update moves devices from OxygenOS 14 to 15, with a focus on smoother animations, a more consistent look, and improved customization options.

The update includes a redesigned system graphics engine that aims to improve rendering performance and keep animations smooth, even when multitasking. The transitions for widgets, folders, and system elements have been refined, and swipe gestures are now designed to work more consistently with third-party apps.
In terms of visuals, the Home screen icons and system icons have been updated with changes to their proportions and color profiles. There’s also been an effort to standardize the rounded corners of interface elements. The new Flux Themes feature allows users to personalize the phone’s appearance using system wallpapers or their own photos, and the transitions between the Always-On Display, Lock screen, and Home screen are designed to be smoother.
For notifications and alerts, Live Alerts are now used, which display notifications in a simplified layout in the center of the screen.
Productivity features include Floating Window gestures to help users manage mini-app windows, and the notifications and Quick Settings panels have been separated. The Quick Settings panel also has some layout and animation improvements.
Photo editing now includes a global edit reversal feature, which allows users to go back to previous settings when making adjustments.
The update also adds new OxygenOS app icons and includes improvements to system stability. The rollout is being done in phases, starting in North America, with wider availability planned for later. We have also provided the official changelog below.
