Lenovo Legion confirmed the launch of its Y9000P 2025 Extreme Edition gaming laptop on April 15 at 19:00 Beijing time, introducing RGB lighting to the 9000P series. The device retains its Y-shaped logo domestically, while the global variant, rebranded as Legion Pro 7i Gen 10, adopts a “LEGION” lettered design. The Legion Y9000P 2025 Extreme Edition is expected to pack the same specifications and features as the Legion Pro 7i Gen 10.

The Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 model packs an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU and NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPU, paired with up to 64GB DDR5 6400MHz RAM and a 1TB PCIe 5.0 SSD (expandable to 64GB). Priced at $3,440, it targets premium gamers with a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED display boasting a 240Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, Dolby Vision, and VESA Trueblack 1000 certification. A redesigned cooling system sustains up to 250W TDP for peak performance.

For audio, the laptop includes a quad-speaker system with Nahimic Audio. It also has a 99Wh battery, 400W AC adapter, and a 5MP camera with dual microphones. Its 2.72kg chassis (21.9–26.6mm thick) houses a per-key RGB keyboard, four speakers, and ports: HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C (140W PD), three USB-A, a 2.5G Ethernet jack, and a 3.5mm audio interface. As for connectivity, the laptop has Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
