Asus has officially pulled the curtain back on the ROG Strix XG32UCG, a feature-packed gaming monitor that wants to be everything at once — a high-refresh esports screen and a 4K stunner for immersive AAA games.

This isn’t Asus’s first time teasing the XG32UCG. The monitor was originally announced back in December 2024, but full specs and pricing weren’t confirmed until now. It’s launching at 3,999 yuan (around $550) in China, and global availability hasn’t been detailed yet.

Asus Strix XG32UCG Specifications

The XG32UCG features a 32-inch Fast IPS panel with a 3840×2160 resolution and a 160Hz refresh rate in 4K mode, or it can switch to Full HD at an ultra-smooth 320Hz. This dual-mode setup, toggled via Asus’s Frame Rate Boost hotkey, gives you the freedom to prioritize either resolution or frame rate without digging through menus.

It sports a 0.3ms response time and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, delivering vibrant, accurate visuals across everything from narrative-driven AAA games to competitive shooters. The panel supports HDR10 and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. It also equips AdaptiveSync technology to eliminate screen tearing and maintain a fluid visual experience, whether you’re using an AMD or Nvidia GPU.

For connectivity, the XG32UCG includes DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB-C with 15W power delivery, and a 3.5mm headphone jack—ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. The design integrates Aura Sync lighting for customizable RGB flair that syncs with your gaming setup.

Ergonomically, it features a stand with up to 130mm of height adjustment, -5° to 20° tilt, and ±25° swivel. And yes, there’s 100 x 100 mm VESA mount support if you prefer a clean wall setup.

The monitor also comes with AI Gaming enhancements, including AI Crosshair and AI Shadow Boost. These tools dynamically adjust your in-game visuals for better visibility and accuracy, helping you stay locked onto enemies even in dark corners. All these settings can be fine-tuned through the DisplayWidget Center, which replaces traditional OSD controls with a more intuitive, mouse-friendly interface.

In related news, major laptop brands including Lenovo, Asus, Dell, and HP have paused U.S. shipments due to new tariffs of up to 104%. Apple, however, avoided disruption by pre-stocking and shifting supply to India-made products.
