Flipkart’s new sale, dubbed Sa Sa Le Le, kicks off tomorrow (May 1) in India. Two smartphones priced around Rs 20,000 that are worth considering during the event are the Oppo K13 and Vivo T4 — one major reason being that both phones pack a huge 7,000mAh+ battery. But which phone truly delivers better value? Here’s a detailed comparison to help you decide.
1. Display and design

The Vivo T4 5G features a stunning 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2392 x 1080 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits peak local brightness, and 1300 nits HBM brightness — making it one of the brightest displays in its segment. It feels premium in the hand with its curved edges, weighs 188g, and has MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.
In contrast, the Oppo K13 5G sports a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s slightly lighter at 186g and has a practical flat design, using a Samsung E4 panel with 1200 nits peak brightness.
Both phones have an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. In terms of design, the Oppo K13 appears like a toned-down version of the more premium OnePlus 13T. On the other hand, the Vivo T4 5G sports a round camera module on the back.
2. Performance and Software

The Vivo T4 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor with an AnTuTu score of over 8.2 lakh. It is available in 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4x RAM configurations and supports an additional 8GB virtual RAM. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2.
Meanwhile, the Oppo K13 5G comes with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset scoring 7.9 lakh+ on AnTuTu. It includes 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 8GB virtual RAM, and faster UFS 3.1 storage available in 128GB or 256GB variants — giving it an edge in read/write speeds and app performance.
Battery life is a major strength for both. The Vivo T4 5G offers a 7,300mAh battery with 90W fast charging and 7.5W reverse charging. It uses a silicon-carbon anode battery for better energy density and quicker charging.
The Oppo K13 5G houses a slightly smaller but still massive 7,000mAh battery supported by 80W fast charging, using graphite battery technology rated for 1800+ charging cycles.
Both phones ship with Android 15 out of the box. The Vivo T4 5G runs on FunTouch OS 15, while the Oppo K13 5G comes with ColorOS 15. Both phones are promised to receive two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
3. Cameras and Other Features

For photography, the Vivo T4 5G has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, paired with a 2-megapixel sensor, and an Aura LED flash. The front camera is a sharp 32-megapixel shooter, ideal for selfies and video calls.
The Oppo K13 5G also has a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50D40 primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. The front camera, however, is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX840, which is decent for its price.
The Vivo T4 5G includes an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, IR blaster, dual SIM support, USB-C, and MIL-STD-810H durability.
The Oppo K13 5G offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, IR blaster, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features dual stereo speakers and an advanced cooling system — a 5700mm² vapour chamber and 6000mm² graphite sheet — to manage thermals during gaming and charging.

Final thoughts
The Oppo K13 5G is a performance-centric option for value-conscious buyers, offering faster UFS 3.1 storage, better cooling, stereo speakers, and an attractive price point. On the other hand, the Vivo T4 5G brings a more premium display, brighter screen, stronger selfie camera, and slightly better chipset — along with military-grade durability — which justifies its higher price for those prioritising multimedia and build quality.
Both devices cater to different needs — the Oppo K13 5G is ideal for budget gamers and power users, while the Vivo T4 5G suits users looking for a refined and resilient experience.
