Lenovo has officially announced its latest gen gaming tablet. The Legion Y700 (2025) is the newest entry in the Legion lineup of gaming devices, bringing cutting edge performance from high end hardware. So here’s everything you need to know.

The Chinese tech giant announced the Legion Y700 with an 8.8-inch LCD display with a 3K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 98 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 165Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming, and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile chipset that also powers other Android flagships like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and OnePlus 13.

This processor is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Users can even expand the Legion Y700’s storage by up to 2TB via a microSD card slot. For optics, the rear has a 50MP camera, while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. Other notable features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, 7600mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and Android 15 OS based ZUI 16 custom skin.

For those looking for a more immersive gaming experience, there is even a G9 game controller that attaches to the Legion Y700, turning it into a gaming handheld. This is sold separately for 499 Yuan (roughly 69 US Dollars). Lenovo unveiled the Legion Y700 (2025) in Black and White color variants with a starting price tag of 3,299 Yuan (roughly 456 US Dollars). It is set to go on sale in China on 31st May 2025.
