Sony is bringing wired audio with its latest hearables. While truly wireless earbuds are all the rage right now, Sony’s new IER-EX15C returns to the old reliable wired connection. It is a pair of classic wired earphones, so here’s everything you need to know.
Sony’s IER-EX15C Earphones Launched in India
Over the years, the 3.5mm audio jack has gone nearly extinct. But every smartphone still has a USB Type-C port, which is what the Sony IER-EX15C earphones feature. So you’re getting a reliable wired connection with these in-ear earphones. Thanks to its plug and play nature, the hassle of charging every now and then and pairing is also eliminated. It houses a 5mm dynamic drivers, which promises deep bass and clear vocals.

Like the wired earphones of the past, the Sony IER-EX15C brings a remote control that let’s users manage song playback, volume adjustment, mute the microphone, and answer calls. For added convenience, the Sony wired earphones features a tangle resistant cable. Other notable features include three different silicon eartips, cable adjuster, and light and compact design.
Sony’s new wired earphones arrive in four matte color options, namely white, black, blue, and pink. The IER-EX15C model is currently available for purchase from the brand’s official website, Sony Centers, leading e-retailers like Amazon India, and popular electronics stores. It has an official price tag of 2,490 INR, but it is currently selling for an introductory price tag of 1,990 INR.
