Xiaomi has released the OpenWear Stereo Pro earbuds to the global market after their launch in China in June 2025. These open-ear wireless earbuds are designed for comfort and weigh 9.7 grams each.

The earbuds use a five-unit acoustic system that includes a custom 1813 super-large dynamic woofer for bass, a dual dynamic iron tweeter module, and a piezoelectric ceramic driver for high frequencies. The tuning has been done with Harman’s Golden Ear team. Users get multiple EQ presets, spatial audio, and 360-degree head tracking.

For fit and strength, the OpenWear Stereo Pro has 0.6mm titanium memory wire ear hooks that can handle over 5,000 bends. The hooks have a 45mm adjustable range to fit different ear shapes. The earbuds also use a liquid silicone shell and a three-point ergonomic fit system. Since they do not seal the ear canal, they are more breathable but can cause sound leakage. To fix this, Xiaomi has added an anti-leakage sound system that uses reverse-phase sound waves. This system has been certified by China’s National Institute of Metrology.
Other features include Headphone Independent Recording 2.0, which allows direct audio recording even when the case is closed. The earbuds also support Chinese-English real-time translation, gesture controls, IP54 sweat and rain resistance, and multi-device audio streaming. Battery life is 8.5 hours on a single charge. With the Kona leather-covered charging case, total playback time reaches 45 hours.
Pricing & availability
In the EU, the Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro costs €149.99 and is available on the company’s official website.
