Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad 2 Pro in the global market alongside the Xiaomi Pad Mini and 15T series. It features a larger display, improved performance, long-lasting battery life, HyperOS 2 interconnectivity, and optional 5G support. Let’s check out its key specs and pricing details.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro Specifications
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.5K resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. It supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a 360Hz touch sampling rate.
The panel achieves up to 600 nits brightness in high brightness mode and supports Dolby Vision, DC dimming, reading mode, and wet touch technology. Xiaomi also offers a Matte Glass version with AG nano-texturing, which reduces reflections and improves visibility by cutting light interference by up to 97%.
The tablet runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 cores, paired with an Adreno 810 GPU. It comes in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 variants, with microSD expansion up to 2TB.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro runs on Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2. The software enables seamless interconnectivity across Xiaomi devices, allowing shared clipboard functions, direct phone control, call synchronization, and instant hotspot switching.
For imaging, the tablet comes with an 8MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera on the Wi-Fi model, while the 5G variant upgrades the rear sensor to 13MP. Both support 1080p video recording at 30fps, making them suitable for video calls, online classes, and casual photography.
Coming to the battery life, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro is backed by a massive 12,000mAh battery, offering up to 14.2 hours of video playback, 16 hours of reading, and over 105 hours of music streaming. It supports 33W fast charging over USB-C and also enables up to 27W wired reverse charging, allowing the tablet to power other gadgets like smartphones or earbuds on the go.
The tablet features quad Dolby Atmos speakers, dual mics, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and optional 5G via eSIM. It includes multiple sensors, weighs 610g, measures 7.5mm, and comes in Graphite Grey, Silver, and Lavender Purple with a unibody metal build. Keyboard and stylus are supported separately.

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro Wi-Fi 6GB + 128GB is priced at €299.99, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs €349.99. The Matte Glass edition with 8GB + 256GB is available at €379.99. The 5G model with 6GB + 128GB is also priced at €379.99.
Xiaomi has also introduced the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Keyboard at €99.99. The tablet is already available for order across several European countries and the UAE.
