Xiaomi has officially introduced the Xiaomi 15T Pro at its global launch event in Munich, making it the main device in the new T-series lineup. The smartphone focuses on advanced imaging developed with Leica, strong hardware performance, and upgraded connectivity, all running on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 3.
Display and design
The phone has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1280), peak brightness of 3,200 nits, and a 144Hz refresh rate. Bezels are reduced to 1.5mm using LIPO technology for a more immersive look. The screen is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light, flicker-free use, and circadian-friendly brightness.
The device measures 162.7 x 77.9 x 7.96 mm, weighs 210g, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It is IP68-rated, allowing water resistance up to 3 meters. The frame is made from 6M13 aluminum alloy for added durability.
Camera system with Leica optics
The Xiaomi 15T Pro brings a Leica 5x Pro telephoto camera to the T-series for the first time. Its triple-camera setup covers focal lengths from 15mm to 230mm, letting users capture wide landscapes and detailed zoom shots with one device. The system includes a 50MP Leica Summilux main camera (ƒ/1.62) with a Light Fusion 900 sensor, a 50MP super telephoto camera (ƒ/3.0, OIS), and a 12MP ultra-wide camera (ƒ/2.2, 120° FOV). The main sensor supports a 13.5EV dynamic range for better details in high-contrast scenes.
The telephoto lens offers 5x optical zoom, 10x lossless zoom, and up to 20x ultra-zoom with software optimization. A 32MP front camera with a 90° field of view is included for selfies and video calls.
Photography features are powered by Xiaomi AISP 2.0 with PortraitLM 2.0 and ColorLM 2.0, improving depth, color, and contrast. Master Portrait Mode adds adjustable bokeh styles like Width and Bubbles. Leica Street Photography Mode allows instant capture from the lock screen with preset focal lengths from 28mm to 135mm.
For video, the device supports HDR10+ recording at 4K 30fps on all focal lengths, 4K 120fps slow motion, 4K 60fps 10-bit Log with LUT import for editing, and 8K 30fps recording.
Hardware and battery
The 15T Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset built on the 3nm process. It has a CPU with speeds up to 3.73GHz, Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU, and NPU 890. Storage options pair 12GB RAM with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
The 5,500mAh battery supports 90W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge. The device can power on within four seconds after connecting to a charger. Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop cooling system improves heat management with a vapor-liquid separation design.
Connectivity and software
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 with dual connections, NFC, and dual SIM with eSIM support. Xiaomi Astral Communication adds Xiaomi Offline Communication, which allows voice calls between two 15T Pro devices within 1.9 km without Wi-Fi or cellular service.
The device runs HyperOS 3 with a redesigned interface, faster multitasking, and improved AI features through HyperAI. It also enhances connections with other Xiaomi products.
Pricing and availability
The Xiaomi 15T Pro comes in Black, Gray, and Mocha Gold. Pricing is:
- 12GB + 256GB: €799.90
- 12GB + 512GB: €899.90
- 12GB + 1TB: €999.90
