LG has introduced the UltraGear 27GX704A as part of its growing OLED gaming monitor lineup. The model has launched in China and Japan and has also appeared on Amazon Canada and LG Italy support pages, signaling that a wider release is on the way. Pricing has not yet been announced.

The UltraGear 27GX704A features a 26.5-inch glossy WOLED panel with QHD resolution of 2560×1440, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and 178-degree viewing angles to maintain consistent image quality. It supports a 240Hz refresh rate and equips a 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time, making it ideal for competitive gaming that demands fast motion clarity.

It covers 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, comes with 10-bit depth, and delivers a 1,500,000:1 static contrast ratio. The panel offers 275 nits of typical brightness and peaks at 1300 nits in HDR mode. It carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black and HDR10 certifications for enhanced visual performance.

The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, and VESA AdaptiveSync. It also comes with gaming extras such as Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync, crosshair overlays, FPS counter, factory calibration, flicker-free technology, and a reader mode.

In terms of connectivity, the monitor equips two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-B upstream port, two USB-A downstream ports, and a 3.5mm four-pole headset jack.

The design sports a four-sided borderless frame with a glossy finish and Hexagon RGB lighting on the rear. The stand supports 130mm height adjustment along with swivel, tilt, and pivot functions. The monitor measures 605.2 × 351 × 45.3 mm without the stand and weighs 4.8 kg.
