Redmi Note 17 Pro was officially launched on July 14, 2026 (China).
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor. The operating system is Xiaomi HyperOS 3. The device is packed with up to 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512 GB storage (UFS 2.2 on the 128 GB base model, UFS 3.1 on higher tiers). It features a dual rear camera: 50 MP (wide, f/1.8) + 2 MP (depth), while on the front there is an 8 MP camera; video recording is capped at 1080p at 30 fps. The display is a 6.83-inch AMOLED with 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1280) and a 120 Hz refresh rate, reaching 3,500 nits peak brightness with 3840 Hz PWM dimming and a 1-nit minimum, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The device is fueled by a large 9,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery managed by Xiaomi’s Surge G1 chip, with 67 W wired charging and 22.5 W reverse wired charging, plus a five-year battery service plan. Durability is rated IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K, with a metal die-cast internal bracket. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and dual stereo speakers. The Redmi Note 17 Pro comes in Sky Blue, Nebula Purple, Black and White, priced from 1,599 yuan (about $236) for 8 GB + 128 GB up to 2,299 yuan (about $339) for 8 GB + 512 GB.
