As expected, Samsung has launched its latest midrange smartphone, the Galaxy M47 5G, in India. Let’s check out its key specs and pricing.

Samsung Galaxy M47 5G Specifications
The Galaxy M47 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. For durability, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.
Internally, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, built on a 4nm architecture. It is paired with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. If you need more space, there is a hybrid slot for microSD expansion up to 2TB.

On the software side, the Galaxy M47 5G ships with One UI 8.5, based on Android 16. Samsung is offering a long support window for a mid-range phone, promising six generations of major Android OS upgrades and six years of security patches. The software also includes current Google AI tools, such as Circle to Search and Gemini, alongside Samsung’s Knox Vault security and on-device voice mail.
Coming to the photography, the rear camera system consists of three lenses. The primary camera is a 50-megapixel sensor equipped with OIS. It is paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is a 12-megapixel sensor, and the phone supports 4K video recording.
Under the hood, the device packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. Samsung has also included a bypass charging feature.

Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will be available in two colors: Rogue Red and Blaze Blue. Pricing starts at Rs. 22,999, inclusive of launch coupon offers. The phone will go on sale through Amazon India starting July 4th.
