Redmi has entered the over-ear audio category with the launch of its first wireless headphones in China. Announced alongside the Redmi K90 Ultra, the new Redmi Headphones Neo focuses on offering active noise cancellation, long battery life and premium audio features at an affordable price, making it an attractive option for users looking beyond true wireless earbuds.
Redmi Headphones Neo specifications and features

The Redmi Headphones Neo feature a minimalist design with foldable earcups for easier portability. Weighing around 263g, the headphones use protein leather ear cushions filled with slow-rebound foam for improved comfort during extended listening sessions. The earcups support up to 110-degree rotation and a 15-degree tilt to better fit different head shapes, while the adjustable metal headband is designed for durability and comfort.
The headphones are equipped with 40mm titanium-plated dynamic drivers housed inside an independent acoustic chamber to deliver cleaner sound with reduced distortion. They support USB Audio for wired playback at up to 96kHz/24-bit lossless quality and carry Hi-Res Audio certification. Redmi has also included four preset EQ profiles along with a 10-band custom equalizer.
Active noise cancellation is rated at up to 42dB and offers Deep, Balanced and Light modes. They pack a 600mAh battery that delivers up to 72 hours of playback on a single charge, while a 10-minute charge provides up to five hours of listening time.

The headphones also feature adaptive ANC, a triple-microphone AI calling system with wind noise reduction at speeds of up to 5m/s, Bluetooth connectivity, dual-device pairing, audio sharing, notification broadcast and Xiaomi HyperConnect features such as precise device finding, quick pairing and audio transfer between compatible devices.
