Poco has started revealing the key specifications of the Poco M8 Power. Scheduled to launch next month, the Power variant will be the latest addition to the M8 lineup, which already includes the Poco M8, M8 Pro, and M8s. Here are the first details of the phone that have been officially confirmed by the brand.
Poco M8 Power launch date confirmed
Poco has confirmed that the M8 Power will be unveiled on August 4 in India and will be sold through Flipkart. As seen in the official teaser, the Power variant will pack a massive 8,000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge.
On the front, the M8 Power features an AMOLED display, although the screen size and other display specifications have not been confirmed yet. The teaser also confirms that the phone will be available in an orange color option. It features a raised camera module with the camera sensors and LED flash on the left, while the microphone, “50MP AI Camera” branding, and Poco logo are positioned on the right. The rest of the phone’s specifications remain under wraps.
Previous reports suggest that Poco is also working on another smartphone called the Poco X8 5G, which was earlier rumored to have been canceled. The device is expected to sit below the Poco X8 Pro, which debuted earlier this year. It is believed to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G, which recently launched in China. As for the Poco M8 Power, it is also rumored to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 17.
