Motorola has introduced the Moto Pad 70 Groove in India as a new entertainment-focused tablet. It combines a high refresh rate display, a multi-speaker JBL audio system, a built-in kickstand, and AI features while also promising long software support. The tablet is aimed at users looking for a versatile device for streaming, work, and everyday use.

The Moto Pad 70 Groove features a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10 support, DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 800 nits of high brightness mode. A standout feature is its JBL 9-unit Pro Speaker System, which includes four tweeters, three woofers, and two passive radiators with Dolby Atmos support. The tablet can also work as a Bluetooth speaker, while Live Transcript supports real-time translation in more than 40 languages.

Inside, the tablet is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 2TB using a microSD card.

A 10200mAh battery powers the Moto Pad 70 Groove and supports 45W TurboPower charging. Motorola claims it can deliver up to 15 hours of YouTube streaming, while a 10-minute charge can provide up to two hours of usage. It runs Android 16 out of the box and is confirmed to receive Android 17 and Android 18 updates, along with four years of security patches.

The tablet also includes a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, dual microphones, USB Type-C, and a clear protective case in the box. It has a premium all-metal body in Pantone Blue Surf, measures 6.8mm thick, weighs around 775 grams, and includes the new 360° Kickstand 2.0 with Lean, Stand, Theatre, and Hanging viewing modes.

The Moto Pad 70 Groove comes in a single 8GB+256GB variant with a launch price of Rs 33,999, including a Rs 3,000 instant bank discount from its regular price of Rs 36,999. It will be available in the Pantone Blue Surf color starting Aug. 7 through Flipkart, Motorola India, and leading retail stores across the country.
