Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi Turbo 6 series of performance-focused flagship smartphones. The lineup is expected to include two models, namely the standard Turbo 6 and the more powerful Turbo 6 Max. The rumor mill has been gradually revealing details about the Max variant, and the latest leak sheds light on its battery size.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max battery size tipped

According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the upcoming Redmi Turbo 6 Max is currently being tested with a 10,000mAh battery. It remains to be seen whether its battery capacity will be larger than that of the forthcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro Max (Chinese variant), which is also rumored to feature a 10,000mAh battery.
The tipster also claims that the device will feature a minimalist dual-camera setup on the rear. Some reports suggest that it may adopt a horizontal camera module, giving it a distinct look compared to the previous generation.
In the comments section of his post, the tipster mentioned that the device is slated for a January launch, a timeline that was also highlighted by tipster Digital Chat Station in a recent leak.
Speaking of Digital Chat Station, he previously revealed that the Redmi Turbo 6 Max will feature a 7-inch flat OLED display with a 2K resolution and a 3nm Dimensity 9-series chipset. While the official name of the chip remains unknown, it could be called the Dimensity 9600s.
The Redmi Turbo 6 Max is also expected to feature a metal middle frame and an IP68/IP69-rated dust and water-resistant body. For security, it is said to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
