Motorola has officially launched the Moto G Max in India, adding a new option to its smartphone lineup. The device combines a high-refresh-rate display, a large battery and a Snapdragon chipset, while also focusing on durability and everyday usability.
Moto G Max specifications and features
The Moto G Max features a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,050 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode. It also supports Water Touch 2.0 for improved touch responsiveness when the screen is wet. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and up to 24GB of additional virtual memory. The phone runs Hello UX-based Android 16 and is promised two OS upgrades along with three years of security updates.
The Moto G Max has a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 600 main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera on the rear. A 32-megapixel selfie camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.
A 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery powers the device and supports 30W charging. The Moto G Max also carries an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification, giving it added protection against dust, water and demanding environmental conditions.
Moto G Max price and availability
Motorola has launched the Moto G Max in two configurations, with the 6GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 27,999 and the 8GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 29,999. The phone will be available through Flipkart, with sales starting on August 20. With bank offers, users can take advantage up to Rs 1,000 discount. It comes in Pantone-curated color options, including Stargazer, Alaskan Blue and Malaga.
