Following the debut of its themed Realme 16 Pro 5G smartphone, Realme is expanding its licensing collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery by releasing a matching set of wireless earbuds.
The Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition has officially launched in India, priced at ₹6,999 ($73). The earbuds will go on sale starting September 22nd at 12:00 PM IST through Realme’s website and its partner retail channels.
Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition Specs
The special edition earbuds adopt a Harry Potter-inspired design that clearly sets them apart from the standard T500 Pro models. They come in a dedicated Magic Brown colorway, combining dark brown housings and silicone tips with brushed gold stems featuring etched Hogwarts crests.
The charging case uses a dark coffee-brown faux leather finish, with a large gold Hogwarts crest on the front and a laser-engraved Welcome to Hogwarts inscription on the hinge.
Realme is also including an auxiliary leatherette protective case modeled after a vintage Hogwarts student travel trunk. It comes outfitted with brass-finish corner rivets, retention straps, a woven lanyard cord, and a franchise charm. On the software side, the Realme Link companion app includes custom Harry Potter UI pop-ups, unique connection sound effects, and franchise-inspired audio presets.
Underneath the themed design, the hardware remains unchanged from the standard Realme Buds T500 Pro. The earbuds feature 12.4mm dynamic drivers and support Hi-Res Wireless Audio through the LHDC 5.0 codec, with audio transmission at up to 24-bit/96kHz.
They also offer up to 50dB of active noise cancellation (ANC), using a hybrid system with a 5,000Hz frequency range and AI-based real-time fit compensation that dynamically adjusts noise reduction.
In terms of battery life, Realme claims up to 56 hours of total playback with ANC turned off when using the 530mAh charging case. Each earbud packs a 62mAh battery and offers up to 13.5 hours of standalone playback on a single charge.
For calls, the earbuds use six microphones for environmental noise reduction. They support Bluetooth 6.1, 45ms low-latency audio, and multipoint connectivity with up to three devices. They also include IP55 protection, two-way Live Translator, and a MindFlow mode for focus and relaxation.
