After its global debut earlier this week, Vivo has now confirmed it will launch the X Fold 6 in India on October 6. The company shared a short video on X confirming the date, and it’s not the only device to launch. Tagging along are the Vivo S2 FE and Vivo V80.

The company first announced the V80 for October 6, while a tipster later shared its expected India pricing. Vivo then added the S2 FE, which is rumored to cost under Rs 40,000. With the X Fold 6 joining them, the event will cover a V-series phone, an S-series model, and a flagship foldable across different price ranges.

The teaser shows the Vivo X Fold 6 in Nebula Teal. Vivo has not confirmed whether other colors will be available in India, so we could see more options at the launch.

Vivo to also announce its MR headset

And…there’s more. The video also shows a Mixed Reality (MR) headset. It’s unclear whether Vivo plans to sell the headset in India or simply show it at the Vivo NEXT 2026 event. For now, there is no confirmation that it will be available to buy on launch day.

Vivo X FOld 6 India launch with MR headset

The X Fold 6 itself is not a new phone. Vivo launched it in China in June, and our comparison with the Oppo Find N6 gives a closer look at how the two foldables compare. The X Fold 6 uses the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chip and packs a 7,000mAh battery with a 200MP main camera. It has an 8.02-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch cover screen.

In China, the phone starts at CNY 7,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. Vivo announced the X Fold 6 globally but did not share the price; that’s for regional launches like this.
