Ayaneo Slide, a highly anticipated gaming handheld PC, has been officially launched with an impressive set of features. Let’s delve into the key specs of this handheld.

Ayaneo Slide features a 6-inch 1080P (1920×1080 resolution) IPS display, offering 100% sRGB, 85 DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, 386-pixel density per inch, and 400 nits of brightness.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor, ensuring robust performance. The device also features a sophisticated “3+2” cooling system, which includes three copper pipes and two thermal copper sheets, providing efficient heat dissipation over a 20304mm² area. This ensures the device can handle a 28W TDP without overheating.
The company claims that its system maintains a temperature of 46°C in 15W TDP mode and up to 61°C when playing with a 28W configuration, though it may exceed these temperatures during stress testing.
The Ayaneo Slide offers a unique feature with a hidden QWERTY keyboard with RGB lights beneath the screen, setting it apart from other popular handheld gaming devices. This feature allows the device to be referred to as “SLIDE” because it can slide off the keyboard, maintaining a smaller footprint when not in use. The screen is capable of hovering within a range of 10° to 30° angles.
The device features the Master controller with responsive conductive rubber buttons for the directional pad, ABXY buttons, and shoulder buttons. It also incorporates hall effect joysticks and linear hall effect triggers, which are known for their precision, durability, and lack of drift or dead zones, providing a comfortable and highly precise gaming experience.
In terms of connectivity and storage, the Ayaneo Slide is well-equipped. It includes two USB4 Type-C ports for fast data transfer, video output, and charging, along with an SD 7.0 level high-speed TF card slot and a standard M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD, supporting up to 4TB capacity. The device also features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 46.2Wh battery with PD fast charging.
Pricing and Availability
The Ayaneo Slide is initially available at a starting price of $699 (5,040 yuan) for early adopters through crowdfunding. For other retail channels, it will be priced at $799 or $899 for the base model with 16GB memory and 512GB storage. The shipments are set to begin at the end of November.
