Despite the ban, the company keeps releasing amazing flagship phones, especially when it comes to cameras. These devices run on the HarmonyOS operating system and they do not support 5G connectivity due to the ban, but they come with impressive camera setups, making them excellent choices for power users and photography enthusiasts alike.     The Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro share a similar design language, with both featuring premium build quality, glass backs, and a rectangular camera module placed on the rear side. Both devices have the same dimensions of 161 x 74.5 x 8.3 mm, but the P60 Pro weighs slightly more at 200 g, compared to the P60’s 197 g. The Pro variant comes with a more beautiful texture on the rear side, which is why I personally prefer it. Even the camera module is more beautiful, even though it is very similar to the vanilla version. Both phone feature very narrow bezels around the display and they sport the IP68 certification making them waterproof and dustproof.

    Display

    Both the Huawei P60 and P60 Pro sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1220 x 2700 pixels. The display supports HDR10+ content, ensuring a high-quality visual experience on both devices. The handsets come with an adaptive refresh rate thanks to the LTPO technology which goes up to 120 Hz. While the displays are identical in terms of size and resolution, as well as refresh rate, the P60 Pro might offer better color calibration and brightness levels. Both handsets sport in-display fingerprint readers and stereo speakers for an improved audio experience, as well as infrared blasters.

Both phones will run either HarmonyOS or EMUI as their operating system depending on the region (HarmonyOS in China and EMUI in the global market), providing a consistent software experience across both devices.

    Camera

    The camera setups on the Huawei P60 and P60 Pro differ slightly in terms of specifications. The P60 features a triple camera array with a 48 MP main sensor sporting a variable aperture (f/1.4 – f/4.0), a 12 MP ultrawide sensor (f/3.4), and a 13 MP telephoto sensor (f/2.2). In contrast, the P60 Pro comes with a more powerful triple camera setup, consisting of the same 48 MP main sensor as the vanilla version with variable focal aperture (f/1.4 – f/4.0), a 48 MP telephoto sensor (f/2.1), and a 13 MP ultrawide sensor (f/2.2). Both devices are equipped with a 13 MP f/2.4 front-facing camera able to record 4K videos. The P60 Pro’s camera setup offers better performance and more detailed zoom shots, making it the better choice for photography enthusiasts.

    The Huawei P60 is equipped with a 4815 mAh battery, supporting 66W fast charging and 50W fast wireless charging. On the other hand, the P60 Pro also comes with a 4815 mAh battery but offers faster charging speeds, supporting 88W fast charging and 50W fast wireless charging. This means that the P60 Pro will charge more quickly, ensuring you spend less time waiting for your phone to power up.

    Price

    Exact pricing for the Huawei P60 and P60 Pro may vary depending on your region and local retailers. Generally, the P60 Pro will be more expensive due to its enhanced camera capabilities, faster charging speeds, and larger storage options. In China, the vanilla version starts from about $654 or €600 at the actual change, while the Pro starts from about $1025 or €940.
