    23

In the first half of February, the OnePlus 11 will be finally launched in the global market. The handset is ready to bring top-notch specifications to the shelves with an interesting affordable price tag. Currently, it is available in China with a high value for money. But it is not the only flagship launched during the last month with a high value for money. One of the most important remaining flagships released in the last period is the Redmi K60 Pro, an amazing rival for the new OnePlus best device. Here is a comparison between the main specifications of the OnePlus 11 and the Redmi K60 Pro which will hopefully help you to understand the differences between these two beasts.

    Design

The design of the OnePlus 11 is definitely more original than the one found on the Redmi K60 Pro. So, if you want something different for the rest of Android phones, then you should go for it. It comes with a circular camera module and a glass back, as well as a curved display at the sides. I personally prefer it to the Redmi flagship killer. The Redmi K60 Pro comes with a rectangular camera module and a flat display including a punch hole placed centrally. It is slightly more compact, but also uglier, in my personal opinion. Which design do you prefer between these two guys?

    Display

The displays of these two phones are more or less at the same level, but I personally prefer the panel of the OnePlus 11 because it has the LTPO technology enabling an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. The Redmi K60 Pro with its 68B colors display has a 120 Hz refresh rate, but it lacks the LTPO technology, so the energy consumption will be higher. For the rest, they do not differ too much: we are talking about two AMOLED displays with a great Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200/3216 pixels, Dolby Vision support, HDR10+ certification, and an in-display fingerprint scanner inside. Both phones feature good stereo speakers, but they have no audio jack.

    Specs & Software

The OnePlus 11 and the Redmi K60 Pro are powered by the same processor. We are referring to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2: currently the best SoC by Qualcomm. It is a chipset built with a 4 nm production process and sporting an octa-core architecture composed of a Cortex X3 CPU running at a max frequency of 3.2 GHz, two Cortex A715 CPUs, two Cortex A710 CPUs, three Cortex A510 cores, and an Adreno 740 GPU. If we consider the most expensive configurations, these devices offer the same amount of RAM and the same internal storage: up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 native storage. So, on the hardware side, it is essentially a draw. But the software is different: the former gets Android 13 customized by OxygenOS 13, while the latter has Android 13 customized by MIUI 14. Same Android version, but with different user interfaces on top.

    Camera

The OnePlus 11 destroys the Redmi K60 Pro when it comes to the camera setup. It has a Hasselblad triple camera composed of a 50 MP Sony IMX890 main sensor with OIS, a 32 MP telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom, a 48 MP ultrawide camera, and 8K video recording. On the front, it has a 16 MP selfie snapper. With the Redmi K60 Pro, you get a 54 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, a 2 MP macro lens, 8K video recording, and a 16 MP front camera. The secondary sensors of the Redmi K60 Pro are clearly inferior.

    Battery

The battery capacities of these two phones are the same: 5000 mAh. But the Redmi K60 Pro charges quicker thanks to 120W fast charging, and it is also the only one with wireless charging.

    Price

Redmi K60 Pro starts from $496/€460, while the OnePlus 11 begins at $799/€740. The OnePlus 11 wins the comparison, but the K60 Pro has a higher value for money. Which one would you pick?
