    Design

The Realme GT Neo5 features a sleek and stylish design with a very original look. It includes an RGB rectangle on the rear side which can be customized according to the user’s needs. It works when you receive notifications, when you charge the battery, and more. The OnePlus 11, on the other hand, has slightly smaller dimensions and it includes the alert slider. The phone has a glass back and an aluminum frame, so it is built with premium materials. And it also features the IP64 certification making it dustproof and splash resistant. While both phones are equally attractive, the OnePlus 11 has a higher build quality with its glass back and the IP64 certification, but the GT Neo 5 is very interesting due to its RGB lights.

    Display

The display is one of the main highlights of both phones. The OnePlus 11 has a higher resolution and a slightly smaller display size, the former makes it ideal for consuming multimedia content and the adaptive refresh rate is amazing for playing games. The diagonal of the display is 6.7 inches, while the resolution is Quad HD+ with 1440 x 3200 pixels. The refresh rate goes from 1 to 120 Hz thanks to the LTPO technology and the panel is able to show up to one billion colors. The Realme GT Neo5 has a slightly larger display size but a lower 1.5K resolution, which may result in lower image quality. The Realme GT Neo5 also lacks some display features like the adaptive refresh rate (which is bad for energy consumption), but it has a higher refresh rate as it reaches 144 Hz.

    Specs & Software

Both phones come with powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. However, the OnePlus 11 is powered by the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is slightly faster than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 used in the Realme GT Neo5. It has a higher clock frequency and it is able to provide higher CPU performance with its Cortex X3 performance core. Both phones offer up to 16GB of RAM, but the OnePlus 11 offers up to 512GB of internal storage, while its rival stops at 256 GB in its highest-end configuration. The Realme GT Neo5 runs on Realme UI while the OnePlus 11 runs on OxygenOS, both are based on Android 13 and the custom user interfaces are very similar to each other because they share the ColorOS codebase.

    Camera

The Realme GT Neo5 comes with a triple camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. It also has a 16MP front-facing camera. The OnePlus 11 has a triple camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, a 32MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP monochrome sensor. It also has a 16MP front-facing camera. Although both phones offer the same main cameras, the OnePlus 11 comes with Hasselblad optimizations, which can produce more detailed and color-accurate photos. Further, it has better secondary sensors, including a telephoto lens and an ultrawide shooter. The GT Neo 5 lacks a telephoto lens with optical zoom and it has an inferior ultrawide camera.

    Battery

The Realme GT Neo5 has a large 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 240W, which is one of the fastest charging speeds on the market. The OnePlus 11 also comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 100W. Both phones can last a full day with moderate use.

    Price

The Realme GT Neo5 is priced lower than the OnePlus 11 in China (about $358 / €340 instead of $552 / €523), making it a more affordable option for those who want high-end features at a lower price point. Which one would you pick?
