    Design

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra features a glass front, an aluminum frame, and a leather back, giving it a premium feel. The device measures 163.2 x 74.6 x 9.1 mm and weighs 227 g. The Huawei P60 Pro, on the other hand, is slightly lighter and slimmer, measuring 161 x 74.5 x 8.3 mm and weighing 200 g. Both devices have IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, ensuring durability and reliability. In terms of aesthetics, the choice between the two devices comes down to personal preference, as both smartphones offer elegant and modern designs. But I personally prefer the Huawei P60 Pro because it has a sleeker design: it is more compact, thinner, and lighter. Further, it comes in very interesting and original color options, even though it does not have a leather back.

    Display

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra sports a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, while the Huawei P60 Pro has a slightly smaller 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1220 x 2700 pixels. With these devices, you get an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Both displays provide vibrant colors and immersive viewing experiences, with the 13 Ultra offering a higher resolution and larger screen size. The choice between the two devices will depend on your preference for screen size and resolution.

    Specs & Software

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and supports 5G connectivity, ensuring top-notch performance and fast internet speeds. The Huawei P60 Pro, however, is powered by the slightly older Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset in a version without 5G connectivity because Huawei cannot use 5G components due to the U.S. ban. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra offers various memory configurations, ranging from 12 GB to 16 GB RAM and 256 GB to 1 TB internal storage. In contrast, the Huawei P60 Pro offers 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage, with a nano memory card slot for expandable storage. Both smartphones provide excellent performance, with the choice between them depending primarily on your preferred memory configuration. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra runs on Android 13 with MIUI, while the Huawei P60 Pro runs on either Harmony OS or EMUI. Note that the latter won’t include Google Mobile Services in the European market.

    Camera

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is equipped with a quad-camera setup, including 50.3 + 50 + 50 + 50 MP sensors and a 32 MP front-facing camera. The Huawei P60 Pro features a triple camera setup with 48 + 48 + 13 MP sensors and a 13 MP front-facing camera. Both smartphones offer exceptional camera capabilities. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a slight edge with its additional sensor and better overall lenses. However, the Huawei P60 Pro’s camera setup still delivers excellent results with its variable focal aperture, and the choice between the two devices will depend on individual preferences and specific use cases.

    Battery

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes with a 5000 mAh battery and supports fast charging at 90W and fast wireless charging at 50W. On the other hand, the Huawei P60 Pro has a slightly smaller 4815 mAh battery but offers fast charging at 88W and fast wireless charging at 50W. Although the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a larger battery capacity, the difference in charging speeds is minimal, and both devices provide excellent battery life.

    Price

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra made its debut in the Chinese market with a starting price of about $880 or €800 at the actual change, while you need at least $1033 or €940 in order to purchase the Huawei P60 Pro. Due to the absence of 5G connectivity on the P60 Pro, inferior secondary cameras, and inferior chipset, the Xiaomi flagship wins the comparison.
