    Design

The Xiaomi Civi 3 comes in a compact and lightweight design, measuring 158.7 x 71.7 x 7.6 mm and weighing 174g. On the other hand, the OPPO Reno 10 Pro is slightly larger and heavier, measuring 163 x 74 x 7.7 mm and weighing 186g. The design of both phones is sleek and modern, reflecting the high-end nature of these devices. Talking about the design, I personally prefer the OPPO high-end phone because of its innovative and minimalistic camera module, as well as its premium materials. But you should note that the Civi 3 is beautiful as well, it is thinner and also lighter than its rival.

    Display

The Xiaomi Civi 3 sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The OPPO Reno 10 Pro, on the other hand, boasts a larger 6.74-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The larger screen and higher resolution of the OPPO Reno 10 Pro provide a more immersive viewing experience. Both phones are able to show up to one billion colors with the HDR10+ certification on board. They are also equipped with stereo speakers, but they do not feature audio jacks.

    Specs & Software

Both phones are powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 8200 series processor, an octa-core processor clocked at 3.1 GHz (but you get the Ultra version of the Dimensity 8200 with the Xiaomi device). The Xiaomi Civi 3 comes with options for 12 GB of RAM with either 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, or 16 GB of RAM with 1 TB of storage. The OPPO Reno 10 Pro, however, offers 16 GB of RAM with either 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. While both phones offer generous storage options, the OPPO Reno 10 Pro takes a slight lead with its standard 16 GB of RAM. Both phones run on Android 13. The Xiaomi Civi 3 comes with Xiaomi’s custom MIUI interface, while the OPPO Reno 10 Pro uses OPPO’s ColorOS. Both interfaces offer a range of customization options, and the choice between the two will largely come down to personal preference.

    Camera

In terms of camera setup, the Xiaomi Civi 3 features a triple rear camera setup with 50 + 8 + 2 MP sensors and a dual 32 + 32 MP front camera. The OPPO Reno 10 Pro also comes with a triple rear camera setup, but with 50 + 32 + 8 MP sensors, and a single 32 MP front camera. It includes a main rear camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, a telephoto lens, and an ultrawide camera too. While the Xiaomi Civi 3’s dual front camera setup might appeal to selfie enthusiasts, the OPPO Reno 10 Pro’s rear sensors promises exceptional detail in photos.

    Battery

The Xiaomi Civi 3 is powered by a 4500 mAh battery and supports fast charging at 67W. The OPPO Reno 10 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a larger 4600 mAh battery and supports even faster charging at 100W. Although the Xiaomi Civi 3 offers impressive charging speed, the larger capacity and faster charging of the OPPO Reno 10 Pro make it stand out in this category. However, note that the difference in battery life is just marginal, what really matters here is the charging speed difference.

    Price

Both the Xiaomi Civi 3 and the OPPO Reno 10 Pro are exceptional high-end smartphones. The Xiaomi Civi 3 shines with its compact design, powerful processor, and exceptional memory options. Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno 10 Pro impresses with its larger display, powerful camera setup, and superior battery. The choice between the two will largely come down to personal preference and specific needs. The OPPO device starts from about $558 or €520 in the Chinese market, while you need at least $354 or €330 in order to purchase the Xiaomi one in the Chinese market. Which one would you pick?
