iQOO is reportedly working on its next flagship series—the iQOO 15. The lineup is said to include the standard iQOO 15 and the iQOO 15 Ultra. In a new leak, the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has mentioned the camera configuration of both models.
iQOO 15 series camera specifications tipped
As per the leak, the standard and Ultra versions of the iQOO 15 will feature the SM8850 chip (tentative name: Snapdragon 8 Elite 2). Reports have revealed that the next-gen processor is based on Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU architecture and is expected to deliver impressive benchmark scores — over 4,000 points in single-core and more than 11,000 in multi-core on Geekbench 6.
The leak reveals that both models feature a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera with a medium-sized sensor. He added that that the entire camera setup could consist of three 50-megapixel sensors, covering primary, telephoto, and ultra-wide roles.
According to earlier leaks, the iQOO 15 Ultra may feature a flat 6.85-inch Samsung 2K LTPO panel with extremely thin bezels. This display is said to support Pol-less polarisation removal, anti-reflective coating, and is made using a new LIPO packaging technology that significantly reduces bezel size while maintaining signal stability and clarity. The screen is also reportedly the most expensive panel in the brand’s sub-series yet.
The Ultra edition is also expected to include gaming shoulder buttons, an active cooling fan, and wireless charging support. These features could be absent on the standard edition. The Ultra model is also said to be equipped with a 7,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. The iQOO 15 series is expected to launch in October this year in China.

A new report by DigiTimes sheds light on Apple’s changing strategy in the foldable device segment. Citing supply chain sources, the publication claims Apple has temporarily halted development of its foldable iPad due to a mix of production challenges and cost concerns. The focus has now shifted to getting its first foldable iPhone ready for launch.
Foldable iPad development reportedly on hold
foldable iPad mock render
Apple had been developing a large-screen foldable device, described by some as a foldable iPad and by others as an all-display MacBook. However, sources say the company has now paused the project due to manufacturing complexities and high production costs. Creating large, crease-free foldable OLED panels remains a technical challenge, especially at Apple’s quality standards.
Beyond production hurdles, Apple is also reportedly concerned about limited consumer demand for foldable tablets. High pricing could make the product difficult to position in the broader market. The device was rumoured to feature an 18.8-inch to 20.2-inch OLED panel with a seamless fold and a potential release between 2026 and 2028. With development now on hold, this timeline seems increasingly unlikely.
iPhone foldable enters prototype testing
In contrast, development on Apple’s foldable iPhone continues. The device reportedly reached the P1 prototype phase in June 2025 and could enter its Engineering Verification Test (EVT) phase by early 2026.
According to the leak, the foldable iPhone is expected to feature a 7.8-inch OLED display supplied by Samsung, a side-mounted Touch ID scanner, and a titanium alloy frame with a liquid metal hinge for improved durability. Apple aims to achieve an almost invisible crease. The device may debut in September 2026 with a price tag ranging between $2,100 and $2,300.

Xiaomi’s new flagship Pad 7S Pro finally made its debut a week ago. It debuted alongside other premium tablets, but this one stood out from the rest. Not only does it offer the brand’s latest in-house chipset, the Pad 7S Pro also came with high-end specs for under $500. So here’s why this tablet is worth your attention.
Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro: Self-Developed, High Performance
To recall, the Chinese tech giant announced the Xiaomi 15S Pro with the new XRing O1 processor back in May 2025. This chip was based on the advanced 3nm process and arrived as the brand’s first custom flagship chipset with impressive performance. In a Geekbench listing, the tablet was seen beating the Dimensity 9300+ powered Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, despite having an underclocked XRing O1 under the hood.
Xiaomi XRing O1
So even with its very first high-end priorietary chipset, Xiaomi managed to offer capable performance that can rival other flagship chips. The XRing O1 being based on the 3nm helps it be more power efficient as well, with a massive 10,610mAh cell further ensuring a long battery life. The fast charging rate doesn’t disappoint either, with support for 120W charging speeds.
Big Gorgeous display & a Premium Build
The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro sports a tall 12.5-inch LCD panel that offers a 3.2K resolution, which makes the visual experience better on such a large display. Xiaomi is catering to gaming enthusiasts as well with an ultra high refresh rate of 144Hz.
You also get slim bezels around the screen, a 3:2 aspect ratio for a better multitasking experience, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and 1000 nits of peak brightness. Xiaomi built the Pad 7S Pro with an all-metal aluminum chassis that measures just 5.8mm in thickness and weighs 576 grams in weight.
Dolby Atmos Audio & Productivity Focus
Unlike smartphones, tablets have more internal real estate, which allows them to pack bigger and louder speakers for better audio. With the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, you get a quad speaker setup with tuning from Dolby Atmos. So be it gaming or movies, you won’t always need headphones with this tablet.
Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro
Other handy and noteworthy features include an IR blaster that is quite useful, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, WiFi 7, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and the latest Android 15 OS based HyperOS 2 custom skin out of the box. Since the Pad 7S Pro was also built with productivity in mind, users get support for s “Remote Control PC” functions, Windows/macOS file transfers, and PC-grade software like WPS Office, CAJ Viewer, and ZWCAD.
