Xiaomi has unveiled an update to its Mijia Pocket Photo Printer, the 1S, which brings a handful of new features focused on personalization and augmented reality (AR) experiences.
The Mijia Pocket Photo Printer 1S launched today on JD.com and other Chinese platforms for a pre-sale price of 399 yuan (roughly USD 53), with wider availability starting July 19th.
The core functionality remains the same: a portable printer for creating physical photos from your smartphone. However, the 1S has a wide range of customization options through the Mi Home app. Users can now choose from various built-in border styles for their prints, add custom avatars, and even include signature watermarks.
The printer also has eight different filters, allowing users to adjust the overall look and feel of their photos before printing. Notably, the 1S ditches Wi-Fi dependence entirely, opting for Bluetooth connectivity. This enables multiple users to connect to the printer simultaneously for a more social printing experience.
Beyond static prints, the 1S embraces augmented reality (AR) to add a new layer to photo memories. The “AR video photo” function lets users associate videos or audio clips with their photos within the Mi Home app.
When you scan the photo within the app, these photos come alive, allowing users to relive moments with a burst of sight and sound. Videos can be up to 15 seconds long, while audio recordings can stretch to 60 seconds.
The Mijia Pocket Photo Printer 1S utilizes ZINK zero-ink printing technology. This means the printer relies on special ZINK photo paper that has color crystals embedded within.
The printer heats these crystals to form the image, eliminating the need for messy ink cartridges. While the printer itself is relatively affordable, refills come at a premium. The price for a 50-sheet pack of ZINK paper is 99 yuan (roughly USD 15), translating to a per-sheet cost of around 2 yuan (USD 0.30).

Robot Vacuum Cleaners are evolving faster than you might think, so it is important to choose one that suits you the best because they have to be in your household for a longer period of time. And this time we have a new one from YEEDI, the C12 Pro Plus. There are also C12 and C12 Plus in the series, and the C12 Pro Plus is the premium one. This one has two major upgrades, which are the Sophisticated Vibrative Mop and Auto-Empty Omni Station. If your floor often gets really dirty or has hairs everywhere, and you want to get an affordable robot vacuum, then this review will help you a lot.
Yeedi C12 Pro+ full review video:
Design
When we received the robot vacuum, I was still surprised by how small the box was. I mean the box tells that the machine will be mighty as well, and it can help you clean the house while still requiring less space at your home.
So about the design, there isn’t much difference on the top of the robot, when compared to the last one from YEEDI. But at the bottom, you can see the mop has been upgraded, basically it is vibrative and it mops back and forth, so it will have better cleaning capability, let’s talk about that next.
And for the station, it has been renewed as you can see. There is a transparent dustbin built in, the purpose of it is to collect and filter the trash from the robot, then potentially store them for 7 weeks without you doing anything. Now you have an extra minute to enjoy your favorite movie at weekends.
Highlights
Since we have just reviewed one robot vacuum from YEEDI two months ago, and the new one shares some of the same features, so in this review, we will mainly focus on the special features it has.
First up, let’s talk about the mop. Instead of just putting the mop against the floor with some downward pressure, the mop is built by a so-called OZMO Mega Mopping System. So basically there are three major highlights. First of all, the mop is big, it is not like the ones on the market that are just two rounded pieces, which always leave a gap in between, this one is one complete mop, so it covers the entire route the robot goes. Secondly, the mop vibrates. the dirt would come off the ground after being whipped, and the best thing is that the vibration is on the entire mop, sure it helps with the clean a lot. Lastly, the mop moves back and forth, which means every area can be cleaned multiple times, and the built-in water tank will keep rinsing the mop, to make sure the mop works fine. So it’s safe to say that, this is the first time that we see triple functions packed on a mop, and in the real-world test, it does the cleaning more thoroughly.
Now the station is another highlight, because it processes the dirt and debris in a whole new way. Before this, you know the station collects the dirt from the robot, and then stores it in the dust bag, there isn’t any filtration involved and you need to change the dust bag every now and then. Some may experience allergies, and it adds more cost when buying dust bags. With this C12 Pro Plus, it pretty much handles everything for you. As you can see, when the robot comes back to the station, it will start the dust collection right away. And through the transparent shell, you can have a clear visual of the Cyclone filtration system, quite unique, isn’t it? The final result is also satisfying, all the dirt is collected from the robot to the station very quickly.
There are 4 filters built into the system, 3 major benefits of this part are that, you can see how much dirt there is, if you are a so-called neat freak, then you can clean it whenever you see fit; two the filters make sure that no dirt or smell is going out of the station, since the air is also filtered; lastly, you can take the dustbin out, empty it, then rinse it with water, for the next use. It makes your station clean, and saves you a lot of money.
Of course, some other unique features are also on the vacuum and mop, such as the 8000Pa suction power, 2-in-1 vacuum and mop, also the Zero-tangle system. So 8000Pa suction power is an industry-leading performance right now, when it’s doing the job, it can pretty much wipe out small debris, coffee, and powder very efficiently. If you want the robot to do some light cleaning, there is also other three levels of suction power to choose from.
And since the mop vibrates and does it back and forth, it can also tackle some stubborn dirt nicely. The suction power also works really well on a carpet, as you can see, when it’s finished vacuuming the carpet, it still collects some dust, which is something you need from a good vacuum cleaner. Lastly, in our last YEEDI review video, the Zero Tangle performance was really impressive, as good as it is, let’s briefly show how it works here again. Also impressive, isn’t it?
Verdict
Alright, this is the review of the YEEDI C12 Pro Plus robot vacuum review, hope it helps. And we must say that YEEDI is doing a great job offering unique yet affordable models. This one is in the $300 range, there aren’t any core functions left over, and you can also check out the other two models in the series, since they share some of the features together. I would say this series is a really good choice for those of you who want such machine but don’t want to spend big money on it.

I had the opportunity to use the Oppo Reno 12 5G, a standout contender in the smartphone market in the Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 range in the Indian market, a couple of days before its official announcement in India. Readers should note that the Reno 12 available in India and other markets is significantly different from the Chinese market. You can read this post to know the differences. From its sleek design to its powerful camera capabilities and advanced AI features, here’s a closer look at what the Reno 12 5G offers to users.
The first thing that struck me about the Reno 12 5G is its sleek and sophisticated design. Available in Astro Silver, Sunset Peach, and Matte Brown, each variant offers a distinct aesthetic appeal. My review unit is the Sunset Peach variant, which features a unique graphic liquid crystal process, combining soft peach tones with cloud patterns for a refreshing, retro look. The phone feels incredibly well-built, with a Fluid Ripple Texture on the glass back adding both style and grip.
Despite its robust construction, the Reno 12 maintains a slim profile at just 7.6mm thickness and weighs a comfortable 177g. When it comes to durability, the Reno 12 offers Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front protecting the curved-edge screen, an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, and a high-strength alloy framework that according to Oppo is comparable to metal.
In India, the retail package of the Reno 12 includes a charger and case. These items are unavailable in the retail box of the Reno 12 available in Europe.
The Reno 12 has a stunning 6.7-inch curved-edge AMOLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1200 nits of peak brightness. Whether I was streaming videos, gaming, or browsing photos, the AMOLED display with HDR10+ support delivered rich contrasts and deep blacks.
A notable addition to the Reno 12 series is dual speakers, absent in previous non-Pro Reno models. These speakers provide evenly balanced audio, making the device ideal for multimedia activities such as watching movies and playing games. Reno 12 has the Holo Audio support, which is Oppo’s audio spatialization technology designed to provide seamless audio experiences with headphones or earphones. It ensures that different audio sources, such as music, navigation directions, and calls, remain distinct and unobtrusive, allowing users to multitask without interruptions.
3. Performance and Software
Oppo Reno 12 5G’s performance on AnTuTu, Geekbench, CPU Throttle
Powered by the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy platform, the Reno 12 offers decent performance without any lag. The 4nm chip, coupled with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, ensured smooth multitasking and rapid app launches. ColorOS 14.1, based on Android 14, as usual, offers a stutter-free experience. However, like the previous Reno models, the Reno 12 comes with plenty of preloaded apps, which many may not like. The device is promised to receive updates.
The 5,000mAh battery, supported by Oppo’s 80W SuperVOOC charge, impressed me with its rapid charging capabilities. The battery can go from 0 to 100 percent in around 45 minutes. To recall, the Reno 11 has the same-sized battery with 67W charging support. The above images showcase the performance of Reno 12 on benchmarking platforms.
4. Camera capabilities
Oppo Reno 12 5G
The Oppo Reno 12 has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS support. It is joined by an 8-megapixel IMX355 ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Unfortunately, the macro camera replaces the 32-megapixel IMX709 telephoto with 2x optical zoom, which was seen on the Reno 11.
While the Reno 12 can capture portrait shots with up to 2x zoom using the primary camera, having a dedicated lens would have always been appreciated. For selfies, the device is equipped with an autofocus-enabled 32-megapixel GalaxyCore GC32E2 sensor. In the Photo mode, it offers 0.8x, 1x, and 2x zoom options, and 0.8x and 1x options in the Portrait mode. It can produce natural-looking selfies with enhanced facial details and skin tones, perfect for social media enthusiasts. However, the quality diminishes in low-light and indoor environments.
The 50-megapixel main camera delivered impressive clarity and colour accuracy, especially in well-lit conditions. The AI-enhanced Flash Snapshot feature adjusts shutter speed based on lighting conditions, resulting in sharp and vibrant photos even in challenging environments. The 8-megapixel ultrawide camera shots are consistent with the primary camera.
The front and the rear cameras support up to 4K 30fps video shooting. On the front, it offers EIS support for up HD and FHD videos, whereas there is OIS support for 60fps Full HD videos. The latter does not allow to modify or zoom into the subject. The 30fps 4K videos only allow the application of filters and nothing else. The front camera as well as the rear-facing primary camera allow users can adjust the aperture to add background blur effect in 30fps HD videos.
Oppo’s GenAI features on the Reno 12 elevate the user experience to new heights. The AI Eraser 2.0 was particularly handy for removing unwanted objects from photos with remarkable accuracy. AI Clear Face and AI Best Face enhanced group photos by improving facial details and correcting closed-eye expressions, ensuring every shot was picture-perfect. AI Studio, a dedicated app from Oppo, leverages Generative AI technology to transform your photos into unique digital avatars.
AI LinkBoost ensures seamless connectivity even in challenging network conditions, reducing the possibility of dropped calls. BeaconLink takes it a step further, enabling device-to-device voice calls over Bluetooth when there’s no mobile signal. This works well, but users have to be in the Bluetooth range of up to 30 metres.
The AI Recording Summary is a productivity powerhouse, distilling lengthy meetings into concise notes and to-do lists. The AI Toolbox is equally handy, offering AI Summary for quick article comprehension, AI Writer for crafting engaging social media posts, and AI Speak for hands-free reading. These AI Toolbox features are available via the sidebar. Finally, AI Clear Voice ensures crystal-clear calls by filtering out background noise.
Other additions
Gone is the portrait camera on the Reno 12, but the device brings several features that were available on the Reno 11. These include dual speakers, a microSD card slot, UFS 3.1 storage (Reno 11 has UFS 2.2), and an IR blaster.
6. Verdict
The Oppo Reno 12 faces stiff competition in its price range, with many other options offering impressive specifications. However, what sets the Reno 12 apart is its wide range of AI-driven features that are unavailable on other smartphones. Additionally, the Reno 12 boasts a sleek and improved build, featuring an attractive design with a vibrant screen. Its decent photography capabilities, fast charging capabilities, and new additions like dual speakers, UFS 3.1 storage, a microSD card slot, BeaconLink, and an IR blaster further enhance the device’s versatility. Overall, the Oppo Reno 12 is a well-rounded smartphone that combines strong performance, appealing design, and innovative features.

GSMArena published an article that revealed the launch date of the smartphones, but it appears the publication went live prematurely. While the article now redirects to a different story, we were quick to capture the details from the initial post, including a launch date poster.
Based on the poster, the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ will be officially launched during an event scheduled for July 30th at 14:30 UTC+8.
Realme has officially confirmed some details regarding the phones’ aesthetics. Both models will be available in three color options: Emerald Green (vegan leather), Monet Gold (glass back), and Monet Purple (glass back).
Likewise, leaks suggest that potential buyers will have a choice of four configurations for each phone: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. Aside from these options, most other specifications remain under wraps.
TENAA certification hints at some features of the Realme 13 Pro+. The phone is expected to sport a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The processor might be either the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 or 7s Gen 3, paired with up to a whopping 16GB of RAM and a staggering 1TB of storage.
Realme 13 Pro+ TENAA
A 5,050mAh battery (likely offering a typical capacity of around 5,150mAh or 5,200mAh) is believed to power the Realme 13 Pro+. The phone will likely run Realme UI 5 based on Android 14.
On the imaging front, a 32-megapixel front camera is anticipated. The rear camera system is rumored to boast a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-701 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. AI-powered photography features are also expected to be part of the package.
With the official launch date seemingly revealed, hopefully, Realme will be officially confirming more details about the Realme 13 Pro series soon.

The rollout of the latest software update to the models has already commenced. Bluetooth multipoint pairing means that the two wireless earbuds can now connect simultaneously to two devices.

The bug fixes include improved connection stability and voice pickup optimizations.

Users can check whether the update is available on their wireless earbuds via the Bose app.
The procedure entails connecting the wireless buds to your phone and clicking the Settings menu to navigate to the Product Update option. After tapping Product Update and downloading the update, you can then install which will make the earbuds reboot and reconnect with the phone. The Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite is the latest addition to Obsbot‘s lineup of AI-powered webcams, designed to cater to users who want high-quality video without breaking the bank. As a more budget-friendly alternative to the flagship Tiny 2, the Tiny 2 Lite offers an impressive set of features, including 4K resolution, AI tracking, and gesture control. In this review, we’ll take a deep dive into the Tiny 2 Lite, exploring its design, setup, performance, software, and how it stacks up against its more expensive sibling.
The Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite comes neatly packaged with everything you need for basic setup and usage. Inside the box, you’ll find the Tiny 2 Lite webcam itself, a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and a USB-C to C cable. We also got another package containing the Smart Remote 2, which is available as a separate, optional purchase.
2. Design and Build Quality
Following the minimalist design of its predecessor, the Tiny 2 Lite is impressively small and lightweight at only 48.37 x 46.46 x 64.2mm and weighs just 91.4g. This makes it highly portable and ideal for users who travel frequently or have limited desk space. The camera itself is constructed from a seemingly durable plastic material, and while it might not feel as premium as some metal-bodied options, it feels sturdy enough for everyday use.
The Tiny 2 Lite features a built-in stand with a 2-axis gimbal for smooth panning and tilting. The gimbal offers a controllable range of ±140° pan and 30° to -70° tilt, allowing you to stay centered in the frame during video calls or presentations. The stand provides a good level of stability, but if you require more adjustability, the camera also includes a standard 1/4-inch screw mount for tripods or other mounting solutions.
3. Setup
Setting up the Tiny 2 Lite is remarkably simple. It’s a plug-and-play device that connects to your computer (Windows 10 or later, macOS 11 or later) via USB-C, requiring no additional drivers or software for basic functionality. However, to unlock the full potential of its AI-powered features and customize settings, the Obsbot Center software is recommended. The software is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to adjust video parameters, control PTZ movements, and configure AI tracking.
4. Performance
Wide View
The Tiny 2 Lite boasts a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor capable of capturing 4K resolution at 30 fps and 1080p at 60 fps. In well-lit environments, the video quality is excellent, with sharp details and accurate colors. The HDR mode helps balance highlights and shadows, making it suitable for situations with contrasting lighting. However, low-light performance is decent but not outstanding. While the sensor and noise reduction algorithms improve low-light performance compared to some webcams, there can be some visible noise in dimly lit rooms.
Medium ViewNarrow ViewZoomed In
The Tiny 2 Lite utilizes PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) for fast and accurate focusing. In our testing, autofocus worked well under most lighting conditions, keeping the subject sharp and in focus during video calls and presentations. Although the autofocus isn’t very sharp, it’s sufficient for a webcam. You can also adjust the focus manually using the settings in the app.
The built-in dual omnidirectional microphones with noise cancellation offer decent audio quality. Your voice will be clear and audible during video calls, even in moderately noisy environments. However, if you require crystal-clear audio for professional recordings, an external microphone might be a better option.
5. Software and AI Features
The Obsbot Center software offers additional control over the Tiny 2 Lite’s functionalities. You can adjust settings like exposure, white balance, and even create presets with specific camera positions, tracking modes, and image settings. This can be particularly helpful for streamers and content creators who frequently switch between different shooting scenarios.
The Tiny 2 Lite also comes with built-in AI capabilities that power several impressive features:
AI Auto Tracking with Auto Zoom: This is a game-changer for video calls and presentations. The camera intelligently tracks your movements and adjusts the zoom automatically to keep you in frame. It eliminates the need to constantly adjust your position or manually zoom, making your experience more hands-free and professional.
Body Part Tracking: The AI has been refined to focus primarily on upper body and close-up tracking, offering improved accuracy and smoothness compared to previous versions. This ensures the camera stays focused on your face during calls.
Gesture Control 2.0: This allows you to control the Tiny 2 Lite with simple hand gestures, like raising your palm to activate tracking or swiping left/right to zoom in/out. While a fun feature, its usefulness might depend on your personal preference and setup.
6. Comparison with Tiny 2
The Tiny 2 Lite positions itself as a more affordable alternative to the flagship Tiny 2. The key differences lie in the sensor (1/1.5” on Tiny 2 vs 1/2″ on Lite) and zoom (4x optical and digital on Tiny 2 vs digital only on Lite). The Tiny 2 also records up to 60fps in 4K, while the Tiny 2 Lite offers up to 30fps. The Tiny 2 offers additional streaming features like zone tracking, a higher maximum controllable speed for the gimbal, and USB 3.0 connectivity.
While the Tiny 2 boasts superior low-light performance and zoom range, it comes at a higher price point. If you prioritize affordability and value AI auto-tracking and good video quality, the Tiny 2 Lite is a compelling option.
7. Tiny Smart Remote 2
The Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite’s functionality can be further enhanced with the optional Smart Remote 2. Designed specifically for the Obsbot Tiny series, the remote boasts an elegant design and intuitive button layout, allowing for effortless camera control. It seamlessly integrates with the Tiny 2 Lite, enabling users to activate AI features like Close-up and Desk Mode with a single press. The remote also doubles as a presentation clicker, offering added convenience for users who frequently give presentations or lectures.
8. Pricing
The Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite is priced at a competitive $179, making it a great option for budget-conscious users who want a feature-rich PTZ webcam. This is a significant price difference compared to the Tiny 2, which costs around $329.
9. Verdict
The Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite 4K PTZ Webcam is a remarkable device that delivers exceptional performance, intelligent features, and professional-grade video quality at a budget-friendly price. Its compact and sleek design, simple setup, and powerful software make it an ideal choice for various applications, from video conferencing and online education to live streaming and content creation.
While it lacks some of the advanced features of the Tiny 2, the Lite version maintains the core functionalities that matter most, making it an excellent value proposition for most users. If you’re seeking a high-quality webcam with intelligent features without breaking the bank, the Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite is undoubtedly worth considering.
