Jolla Phone has been officially announced on December 8, 2025.
This smartphone focuses on flexibility, longevity, and user control, wrapped in a practical design measuring 158 × 74 × 9 mm. It supports dual Nano-SIM and features a swappable rear cover, allowing easy access and customization. One of its standout aspects is the user-replaceable 5500 mAh battery, a rarity in modern smartphones.
The device sports a 6.36-inch AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. With a 1080 × 2260 resolution and roughly 394 ppi, the screen delivers sharp visuals and vibrant colors, supported by a 19:9 aspect ratio and an immersive 86.8% screen-to-body ratio. This makes it well-suited for everyday media use and browsing.
Running on Sailfish OS 5.0, the phone promises up to five major OS upgrades and also supports Android app compatibility, offering long-term software support with added flexibility. Performance is handled by a MediaTek chipset, paired with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS storage, with the option to expand storage via microSD card.
On the camera side, the Jolla Phone features a dual rear setup with a 50 MP wide sensor and a 13 MP ultrawide lens, supporting 4K video recording. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, and USB-C. Additional features like a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers (unconfirmed), and a bold orange color option complete the package.
