Running Android 16 with HyperOS 3, the phone is powered by the Dimensity 9500 flagship processor + D2 discrete graphics chip + 165Hz high refresh rate gaming screen + active air cooling. The Xiaomi device features a premium build with a glass front protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass and an aluminum frame. It measures 163.3 x 77.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs 218 grams.
It includes dual Nano-SIM support and comes with an IP68 rating, offering dust protection and water resistance up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. The display is one of its standout features: a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 68 billion colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and 2560Hz PWM dimming.
The phone reaches an impressive 3500 nits peak brightness and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution sits at 1200 x 2608 pixels, giving a sharp 416 ppi. It features an octa-core CPU and Adreno 840 GPU, providing top-tier performance. Storage options include up to 1TB paired with either 12GB or 16GB RAM, using fast UFS 4.1 storage. There is no microSD slot.
The triple rear camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Video recording goes up to 8K at 30fps. On the front, there’s a 32MP camera that supports 4K video. Audio is enhanced with stereo speakers tuned by Bose, delivering a 2.1 setup with a dedicated woofer and Hi-Res support.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, and USB-C 3.2 with DisplayPort support. The 7560 mAh Si/C Li-Ion battery supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging. Xiaomi Redmi K90 Pro Max is available in Black, White, Denim Blue, and Lamborghini White.
