A new model cell phone produced by AMOI is now exposed. The new model No. is AMOI A955T. Higher model number means it will be important product by AMOI recently, Network data shows that A955T uses 1.7GHz 4-core CPU processors. There was a speculation that A955T uses the newest 4-core processor by MTK. According to AMOI officially news, A955T uses 6-core processors but not 4-core processors.

It is not hard to figure out that CPU model would be MTK6591. But there is a little difference compares it to MT6591. AMOI A955T 6-core processors’ main frequency reaches 1.7GHz(earlier data was 1.5GHz).ZOPO claims that Black3 will uses 6-core processors. There is a possibility that it is upgraded from 6591. MT6591 6-core is not very different from 6592 in technology and architecture. ANTUTU points is about 24000 under the same ARM Mali-450MP5 GPU, FHD.

A955T design is also very attractive except multi-core technology. The display size: is 5.5 ”, image resolution is1080p. The full phone size is 149.2*74.2*8mm only. There is no cell phone manufacturer claims that they will produce cell phone with 6-core processors. AMOI A955T will be the first one with MT6591 in China cell phone market probably.

The mystery behind Amoi’s new phone has been revealed. The phone is called the Amoi A955T. The new model No. is AMOI A955T. Its use of a greater model number indicates that the new phone should be an important product for AMOI.

Online sources said that the A955T would use a 1.7GHz quad-core CPU processor. Some speculated that it would use MTK’s newest MT6588 quad-core processor. But as it turns out, from the little information given by Amoi themselves, the A955T will use a 6-core processor.

Described as “the world’s first six-core computer chip,” it should be no surprise that the CPU chip number will be MTK MT6591, although its specifications will be a bit different.The Amoi A955T’s six-core processor will use a main frequency of up to 1.7GHz (it was previously said to be 1.5GHz). In March, ZOPO said that the ZOPO Black 3 would also use a 6-core processor, so this have been upgraded from the 6591.

The A955T’s design is eye-catching. It has a 5.5” screen with 1080p resolution The full phone size is 149.2 x 74.2 x 8mm only. Unless the calculations are wrong, the Amoi A955T will be the smallest cell phone with a 5.5” display screen ever. It has 2GB RAM, a 2500mA battery and 8Mp camera.

Furthermore, no cell phone manufacturer would claim that they would produce a cell phone with a 6-core processor. AMOI A955T will probably be the first one with MT6591 in the Chinese market.

The main hardware features of smart phones are becoming increasingly similar, and the performance of phones costing approximately 1000 RMB is enough for everyday use. So, consumers are becoming more and more interested in things such as the phone’s design, endurance, and operating system. It all goes back to the final experience of the product.

Recently, Amoi prepared its newest product, the Amoi A955T, and compared to the company’s other products, the A955T’s design stands out more. The other day, the company said that it will be its first six-core smart phone to hit the market and gave us a first glimpse on it.

This is the first rendering of the A955T which looks much better than the photo posted by the Ministry of Information and Technology.

As you can see from the photos, the frame around the screen is very narrow and the screen, itself, is held tight. Its measurements (149.2 x 74.2 x 8mm) which were leaked earlier proves that that the Amoi A955T has a high-screen ratio, even though it has a 5.5 inch 1080p screen and its performance surpasses that of the A900T.

As stated before, this is the first cell phone to run on a six-core processing chip called the MTK6591. Amoi has not released any other information on the phone’s specifications. It may also store 2GB ram and a customized operating system.

Official reports say that the A955T is still undergoing price/performance ratio analysis.
