<p>On <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/20/asus-zenfone-11-ultra-launch-date/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">March 14</a>, 2024, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/asus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Asus</a> will officially unveil its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/asus-zenfone-11-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Zenfone 11 Ultra</a> smartphone in the global market. <div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1024x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Asus zenfone 11 Ultra " class="wp-image-604249" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1068x1068.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1920x1920.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-420x420.jpg 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra</figcaption></figure></div>

<h2>Design &amp; display</h2>

<p>In the age where smartphone sizes are getting bigger by the day, Zenfones were the only flagships catering to customers looking for an actual compact device. Well, it looks like this might be the end of small Zenfones, as the upcoming Zenfone 11 Ultra is said to feature a large 6.78-inch display.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image"><img loading="lazy" width="732" height="732" data-id="596763" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Asus-ROG-phone-8-grey1.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-596763" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Asus-ROG-phone-8-grey1.png 732w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Asus-ROG-phone-8-grey1-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Asus-ROG-phone-8-grey1-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Asus-ROG-phone-8-grey1-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Asus-ROG-phone-8-grey1-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 732px) 100vw, 732px" /><figcaption>ROG Phone 8</figcaption></figure>
</figure>

<p>Design-wise, the device is quite similar to the ROG Phone 8, with slight changes to the rear camera module. Leaked renders suggest that the device will feature an overall similar camera layout, with one large camera cutout on the right side of the module and two smaller ones on the left. The flashy gamer aesthetics on the back have been replaced by some geometric patterns, and the sides of the device are flat with no shoulder triggers.</p>

<p>The display onboard the Zenfone 11 Ultra is said to be a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ AMOLED LTPO panel that will support up to a 144Hz refresh rate. This is slightly different from the ROG Phone 8, which has a 165Hz AMOLED display of the same size and resolution.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Zenfone-11-Ultra-1024x576.webp?x44794" alt="Asus Zenfone 11 Europe Price" /></figure></div>

<p>As per a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/12/asus-zenfone-11-ultra-hq-renders-leaked-showcases-color-variants/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">previous report</a>, the Zenfone 11 Ultra will be available in five shades, such as Eternal Black, Skyline Blue, Misty Gray, Verdure Green, and Desert Sienna.</p>

<h2>Performance</h2>

<p>The similarities don&#8217;t end there a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/15/zenfone-11-ultra-emerges-on-geekbench-with-snapdragon-8-gen-3-launch-imminent/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Geekbench listing</a> has already revealed that the Zenfone 11 Ultra, with model number ASUS_AI2401_H, also comes with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-3">Snapdragon 8 Gen 3</a> processor that has a peak clock speed of 3.30GHz. It has scored 2226 and 6949 points in single and multi-core tests, respectively, which means that there won&#8217;t be any issues running day-to-day or even heavy tasks on this device.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-1024x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-604250" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-1068x1068.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-1920x1920.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1-420x420.jpg 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Asus-zenfone-11-Ultra-color-options-1.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>In addition to that, the device is said to offer configurations with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, paired with up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Currently, it is unclear what kind of cooling system will be onboard the Zenfone 11 Ultra. The ROG Phone 8 uses a conduction cooling system that has a heat pipe made of boron nitride alongside copper going through the phone&#8217;s motherboard. It is possible that we might see something similar on the Zenfone 11 Ultra, however, considering the conduction cooling system is a heavy-duty cooling solution developed for the gaming flagship, Asus might opt for something a bit tamer for the 11 Ultra.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Asus-Zenfone-11-Europe-Price-Leak-1024x536.jpg?x44794" alt="Asus Zenfone 11 Europe Price" class="wp-image-610162" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Asus-Zenfone-11-Europe-Price-Leak-1024x536.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Asus-Zenfone-11-Europe-Price-Leak-300x157.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Asus-Zenfone-11-Europe-Price-Leak-768x402.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Asus-Zenfone-11-Europe-Price-Leak-696x364.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Asus-Zenfone-11-Europe-Price-Leak-1068x559.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Asus-Zenfone-11-Europe-Price-Leak-803x420.jpg 803w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Asus-Zenfone-11-Europe-Price-Leak.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>The device is expected to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 65W wired and 15W wireless charging support. A leaked unboxing image of the device also suggests that the power brick might not be included in the box. Other than that, it is expected to have a 3.5mm audio jack, a stereo speaker system, Bluetooth 5.3, and WiFi 7 support. As for software, it will run on Android 14 out of the box. Like the ROG Phone 8, the 11 Ultra is also expected to come with some AI-driven features, such as enhanced results through the phone launcher, Gallery, and Settings apps.</p>

<h2>Camera</h2>

<p>The camera system is rumored to feature a 50 megapixel IMX890 main sensor, which is a significant upgrade over its predecessor&#8217;s IMX 766 sensor. That being said, the device will feature a gimbal OIS stabilization system for the main camera like its predecessor. It is also said to feature a 13 megapixel ultra-wide lens and an OIS-assisted 32 megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. For the front, the 11 Ultra will have a 32 megapixel selfie snapper.</p>

<h2>Pricing &amp; availability</h2>

<p>A leak from last week suggests that the base model of the device with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cost CZK 24,990 (approximately $1,078 USD / €986 EUR), while the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration is said to cost around CZK 26,490 ($1,143 USD / €1,045 EUR). These prices are expected to be early bird prices, which could increase by CZK 1,000 ($43 or €39), and CZK 2,500 ($107 or €98) after the end of the promotion.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/asus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ASUS </a>is gearing up to unveil a new flagship grade smartphone dubbed the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/asus-zenfone-11-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Zenfone 11 Ultra </a>soon. But while an official release date is still unclear, a European certification hints that the launch might be right around the corner.</p>

<h2>ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra visits EEC</h2>

<p>The Taiwanese brand&#8217;s upcoming Zenfone 11 Ultra model was certified on the EEC certification platform. It was spotted carrying the model number AI2401 and could be a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/05/asus-zenfone-11-ultra-surfaces-in-leaked-renders-and-specifications-could-be-rebadged-rog-phone-8/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">rebranded version of the ROG Phone 8</a>. Unfortunately, finer details regarding this device like its specifications were not revealed in this database. But based on what we know so far, a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/15/zenfone-11-ultra-emerges-on-geekbench-with-snapdragon-8-gen-3-launch-imminent/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GeekBench </a>listing revealed that it is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/ASUS-Zenfone-11-Ultra-EEC.jpeg?x44794" alt="ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra" class="wp-image-605663" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/ASUS-Zenfone-11-Ultra-EEC.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/ASUS-Zenfone-11-Ultra-EEC-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/ASUS-Zenfone-11-Ultra-EEC-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/ASUS-Zenfone-11-Ultra-EEC-696x392.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/ASUS-Zenfone-11-Ultra-EEC-747x420.jpeg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The benchmarking platform also confirmed that it runs on the Android 14 OS out of the box and offers at least one variant with 16GB of RAM. It managed to score 2226 and 6949 points in the single core and multi core tests respectively. The smartphone was even spotted on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/23/asus-zenfone-11-surfaces-on-google-play-console-with-surprising-soc-details/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google Play Console</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/16/asus-zenfone-11-ultra-sdppi-launch-near/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SDPPI</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/08/asus-rog-phon-8-rog-phone-8-pro-zenfone-11-ultra-receive-bluetooth-sig-certification/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bluetooth SIG </a>certifications recently. </p>

<p>In another report, we also covered the leaked <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/12/asus-zenfone-11-ultra-hq-renders-leaked-showcases-color-variants/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">high resolution renders</a> of the upcoming Zenfone 11 Ultra. Its color variants can be seen as well, which includes Eternal Black, Skyline Blue, Misty Gray, Verdure Green, and Desert Sienna. Unfortunately, this is all the information we have at the moment so stick around for more, as we will be providing updates when additional information or leaks surface regarding this device.</p>

<h2>ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra leaked renders and specifications</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Zenfone-11-Ultra-1024x576.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-602826" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Zenfone-11-Ultra-1024x576.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Zenfone-11-Ultra-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Zenfone-11-Ultra-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Zenfone-11-Ultra-696x392.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Zenfone-11-Ultra-1068x601.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Zenfone-11-Ultra-747x420.webp 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Zenfone-11-Ultra.webp 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>A <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/zenfone/comments/1aj2yoh/zenfone_11_ultra_found_yesterday_inside_the_rog_8/">Reddit user</a> spotted images of the Zenfone 11 Ultra in the latest firmware on the ROG Phone 8. The leaked renders and specifications suggest that the device could be a rebranded version of the ROG Phone 8 but with a few changes. If this indeed turns out to be true, the Taiwanese brand would be moving away from the compact flagship tag unless there’s a standard Zenfone 11 variant. </p>

<p>The leaked images reveal the Zenfone 11 Ultra with the same design as the ROG Phone 8. It has a flat frame and a protruding camera module in Black color. The back panel also features some diagonal lines and the device is seen in Skyline Blue, Verdue Green, Dessert Sienna, Eternal Black, and Misty Grey color options. Of course, there is no ROG branding on the phone. The leaked image of the retail box does confirm the ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra moniker. </p>

<p>The Reddit user has also shared spec sheet of the Zenfone 11 Ultra. It will feature a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels along with a 144Hz LTPO refresh rate. The refresh rate is lower than 165Hz found on the ROG Phone 8 series. On the optics front, the smartphone is tipped to sport a 50MP Gimbal OIS sensor coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide and 32MP telephoto lens. </p>

<p>Under the hood, the spec sheet mentions that the Zenfone 11 Ultra will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It will be backed by a 5,500mAh battery unit with support for 65W wired and 15W wireless charging.</p>
