According to sources from the MIUI forums, the Android 10 based MIUI 11, which is a custom skin from the company, has entered closed beta in China. The early build stays in this phase for two to three weeks for various bug fixing and performance tweaking before being launched in open beta. From here, it can take anywhere up to eight weeks before the official stable build can be ready for a global launch.

Although the new year is just around the corner, the early testing is still a great sign for the Redmi smartphone users.
