However, depending on the phone, the hole can be placed at the top left corner, center, or top right corner of the display. Other differences will be the size of the hole with some housing a single camera while other will have dual cameras.

Today, an unknown phone with a punch hole for dual cameras has surfaced on the web. While this is not the first device to have this a punch hole for dual selfie cameras, it is the configuration that makes it unique.

According to Tech YouTuber, Arun Maini a.k.a. Mrwhosetheboss, who shared the photo, the unnamed phone is the first in the world with 44MP dual selfie cameras.

Holding an unreleased smartphone right now, with world's FIRST 44MP Dual Punch-hole front camera…

Can anyone guess from which company? pic.twitter.com/A0VhiXxJog

— Arun Maini (@Mrwhosetheboss) January 20, 2020

The highest selfie camera we have seen on a phone is 32MP but a leak from last week revealed Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will have a 40MP selfie camera. It seems this unnamed manufacturer doesn’t want Samsung to hold on to the title for too long.

The manufacturer and the model of the phone is unknown and so also is the camera sensor which is probably custom-made for the device. It is important to mention that Samsung did announce a 43.7MP sensor last year called the ISOCELL Slim GH1. This is the closest sensor we can think of.

There are speculations as to the manufacturer of the phone. We believe it is an OPPO phone based on that battery icon. However, the identity of the phone itself remains unknown but we are pretty sure it is not the Find X2. Reports say the Find X2 will have a single punch-hole and the display will be curved. The phone in the image has a flat display, and other than the dual selfie cameras, it looks uninteresting.

Nevertheless, do share your guesses as to the manufacturer and the model of the phone in the comment box below.

At the beginning of the decade, the manufacturers started with a single rear camera, and now the Penta-rear camera module is present on the smartphones. Similarly, to scale the front camera capabilities, the smartphones now hosts dual camera sensors. However, the days are not far away when we will start getting the triple or quad front camera smartphones as appeared in some patent applications.

Ahead of the launch taking place next week, another leak has surfaced surrounding the F3. This time around, the retail box casing of the OPPO F3 Plus and two promotional posters for the F3 and F3 Plus have surfaced online.

The OPPO F3 Plus along with the F3 is expected to come with dual selfie cameras and the retail box confirms the existence of dual cameras on the F3. While the new feature is a standout feature, it is not coming as much of a surprise because fellow BBK subsidiary Vivo did release the Vivo V5 and V5 Plus last year with dual selfie shooters on the V5 Plus. Just that this time around, both the F3 and F3 Plus are touted as sporting dual cameras. We are not sure if only the F3 Plus will finally feature dual cameras, anyway.

It is powered by a Snapdragon 653 chipset (MSM8976) with an octa-core processor, backed by 4GB of RAM. The F3 Plus comes with 64GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Other specs include a 16MP + 8MP front sensors, a 16MP single rear camera, Color OS 3.0 based on Android Marshmallow, a 4000mAh battery, dual-SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity. However, for some reason, the company didn’t release the handset at that time. The phone recently visited TENAA, which gave us an idea about its specs as well as the design. However, it looks like we missed an important feature of the handset.

According to the latest leak @upleaks, the Lenovo Vibe S1 will feature dual selfie camera up front. You can clearly see two different cameras just above the display in the picture above. One is just besides the ear piece and the second one is to the right. While we don’t know the capability of the dual cameras, we can expect additional features such as bokeh effects like we saw on the HTC handsets. One of those is expected to be an 8MP sensor.

As for the specs, the Lenovo Vibe S1 is said to come with a 13MP rear facing camera with LED flash, octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB RAM. 5-inch FHD 1080p display and 16GB of internal memory further expandable via MicroSD. The phone should run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

As for the release date, the company is yet to officially confirm the existence of the handset or even its pricing. So, we will have to wait for some more weeks to get some concrete information.
