Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G is a toned-down version of the Galaxy Tab S7+. We already covered the specs and features when it went live on the Samsung Germany website a few days ago. Notwithstanding, the infographic below contains the key specs of the device.

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G will sell for these prices in the following countries (Russia gets a 4G version of the tablet):

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a much more affordable tablet than the Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G. That reduction in price also means there are tradeoffs in features and specs. It will be available in Wi-Fi and LTE versions.

Samsung has put an 8.7-inch LCD display with a 1340 x 800 resolution and a 2MP f/2.2 camera on the front side of the tablet while the rear which is actually made of metal is home to an 8MP f/2.0 camera. Powering the tablet is an Helio P22T processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable storage. Owners will be able to add up to an additional 1TB of storage.

There is an audio jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi. It packs a 5100mAh battery capacity and has support for 15W Adaptive Fast Charging. Unfortunately, Samsung doesn’t ship the tablet with a 15W charger.

Samsung ships both tablets with Android 11. It has also revealed that those who purchase either tablet will get free and unlimited access to Samsung TV Plus as well as a free trial of YouTube Premium. Both tablets support work seamlessly with other Samsung Galaxy devices such as earbuds and phones. Users will be able to easily switch their Galaxy Buds from one device to another; receive calls, send and receive messages on their Galaxy Tab even if their phone is not nearby.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite comes in Gray and Silver and will be available in the following countries at the prices below:

As per a recent Newsroom official announcement, the South Korean tech giant is seeking to aid refuge youths by helping in providing necessary tools to study. Thus, the company has sent out 1,000 Galaxy Tabs to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, that will deliver the devices to 15 different locations, which includes schools and community centers in Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps in Kenya.

For those unaware, the refugee camps in Kakuma and Dadaab are two of the oldest ones in the world and are occupied by around 380,000 refugees. Out of this large population, around 40 percent or about 160,000 of these individuals living in these camps are school aged children. Despite these camps have schools to aid in education, the schools were closed for nine months due to lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, even after opening back in January of this year, the schools are still struggling to supply necessary necessities for learning, like stationary, textbooks, and other items.

This is where Samsung comes in, donating Galaxy Tabs that will allow refugee students to utilize the devices to participate in the school classes and even une into extensive digital learning materials as well. James Lynch, Representative of UNHCR Korea stated that “The contribution from Samsung is a good practice of how a global company can help the most vulnerable people access to education with its technology. UNHCR Korea looks forward to developing partnership with Samsung Electronics now onwards.”

The Galaxy Tab S6 5G will come with similar specs as the LTE version which includes a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display, and a 5.7mm thick body weighing 420 grams. The 5G tablet will be available in at least one Mountain Gray color along with an S-Pen. What’s interesting is that the official press renders of the Galaxy Tab S6 5G reveal a slightly different bottom design as compared to the LTE version. While the USB-C port is common, the speaker grill design is different on the 5G version. Check out the image down below to see the difference.

British court decided Apple shall declare their statement on its website and have to rearrange their statement about “Samsung is not copying the iPad”.

Apple writes on its website that Samsung did not infringe the patent proven design. But samsung urgue to Apple since Apple make statement because even include writings that confirms “that in other countries, Samsung proven guilty”.

The statement Apple posted does say “the Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9 and Tab 7.7 do not infringe Apple’s registered design” but then goes on to quote British court documents, including a passage that says Samsung tablets are “not as cool” as Apple’s devices.

The judge in a British court had asked Apple to modify the word on its Apple website about that word. Apple requested explicitly wrote that Samsung did not infringe Apple’s patents.

Apple’s lawyer, Michel Beloff, stating that Apple would modify that statement. But the judge was surprised that Apple took two weeks to do so.

“I want to make a statement Apple boss why it is becoming difficult for Apple,” said the judge Robin Jacob. The court also gave me about 48 hours for Apple to rewrite the statement.

Last July, Judge Colin Birss of the High Court declared the court a form of the Galaxy Tab is not the same as the iPad that Apple claims Samsung is not proven. In fact, Apple was asked to apologize on his website, and several newspapers, stating the Samsung tablet is not plagiarized.

Apple filed an appeal at that time. But British appeals court ultimately supported the decision and dismissed the appeal of Apple.
