The upcoming HiBy R3 (Second Generation) music player introduces notable features like a unique side scroll wheel, a 3.2-inch (320×480 resolution) touchscreen, and an elegant design with aluminum alloy and dual-sided glass components. These elements combine style and functionality in the new player.

Among its standout features are the dual ES9219C DAC chips, enhancing the sound quality by minimizing jitter and phase noise. The player utilizes two low-phase-noise active oscillators that adjust automatically, optimizing the system clock signals for various sampling rates.

The HiBy R3 (Second Generation) music player has a distinctive feature where it can function as a smartphone “tail” or USB DAC mode. In this mode, the player’s battery works independently, reducing external power source noise and conserving the smartphone’s battery.

In terms of output options, the player boasts a 4.4mm balanced output, pushing an impressive 380mW at 32Ω, and a standard 3.5mm single-ended output.

The music player offers seamless device integration with Bluetooth 5.1 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. It can also function as a computer Bluetooth sound card. Powered by HiBy OS, it provides remote control features via smartphones for an enhanced user experience.

For the new RS8, the brand has included the updated Darwin II Audio architecture, a class A amplifier with a 3.5mm+4.4mm line-out and headphone output ports. The digital-to-analog converter in the model is made on a resistive matrix R2R, which includes 12 high-speed switches and 184 resistors.

Externally, the device has a pure titanium chassis, which has been hand-polished for a neat textured finish. Its front panel houses a 5-inch touchscreen display with a Full HD resolution. HiBy R8 uses two femtosecond ultra-low jitter crystal oscillators to reduce jitter levels. These oscillators are programmed by FPGA for an accurate clock.

It is capable of bringing record-breaking power output using custom-designed OPO2 op-amps. The R8 is capable of 5.9 Vrms 1088mW@32Ω with THD+N ≤ 0.00083% and 3.1 Vrms 300mW@32Ω with THD+N ≤ 0.00065%.

Low Noise with low Impedance

The new DAp is quite and offers impressive sound with a noise level of < 8.4uVrms for 4.4mm balanced output. It maintains noise level of ≤ 4.6uVrms. for single-ended output.

The new HiBy Music Player keeps impedance comfortably low with 0,4Ω for single-ended output, and 0.8Ω for the balanced output, It offers the best frequency response and damping factor for In-Ear Monitors and impedance headphones.

LineOut and Volume Control

There are multiple physical ports that can be used by professionals for their work. It has two line-out ports, one 3.5mm port supporting 10K impedance, 2Vrms output, and a THD+N < 0.0004%. The other is for 4.4mm output with 10K impedance with 4.1 Vrms and THD+N < 0.00046%.

A beautiful and quite useful pro-audio-grade Japanese ALPS Volume control button is present on the top. It accurately and precisely adjusts the volume.

Highly Efficient cooling ane MQA support

The new Hiby R8 player houses a graphene shield to dissipate the heat from the high-end components offering massive power output.
