You may think music players are a thing of the past but no as HiBy Music is set to release the HiBy R3 (Second Generation) music player on September 6th at 8:00 pm. Priced at 998 yuan ($137), this advanced device offers sophisticated features for music enthusiasts.

The upcoming HiBy R3 (Second Generation) music player introduces notable features like a unique side scroll wheel, a 3.2-inch (320×480 resolution) touchscreen, and an elegant design with aluminum alloy and dual-sided glass components. These elements combine style and functionality in the new player.
Among its standout features are the dual ES9219C DAC chips, enhancing the sound quality by minimizing jitter and phase noise. The player utilizes two low-phase-noise active oscillators that adjust automatically, optimizing the system clock signals for various sampling rates.
The HiBy R3 (Second Generation) music player has a distinctive feature where it can function as a smartphone “tail” or USB DAC mode. In this mode, the player’s battery works independently, reducing external power source noise and conserving the smartphone’s battery.
In terms of output options, the player boasts a 4.4mm balanced output, pushing an impressive 380mW at 32Ω, and a standard 3.5mm single-ended output.
The music player offers seamless device integration with Bluetooth 5.1 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. It can also function as a computer Bluetooth sound card. Powered by HiBy OS, it provides remote control features via smartphones for an enhanced user experience.
The music player is lightweight at 118g and houses a 2000mAh battery, offering more than 15 hours of continuous music playback.
