<p><strong>HTC Vive Focus 3</strong></p>
<p>The most prominent feature of the Vive Focus 3 is its impressive display. The VR headset uses a single 2448 x 1600 panel for each eye. The display refresh rate is 90 Hz, which is an improvement from its predecessors. The display far surpasses brands on the high-end spectrum, like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/09/26/oculus-quest-6dof-all-in-one-vr-headset-announced-launches-2019-for-399/">Oculus Quest 2</a> and the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/hp">HP</a> Reverb G2.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-389051" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6.jpg?x44794" alt="HTC Focus 3 5K VR headset" width="2000" height="1124" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6.jpg 2000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-6-1920x1079.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px" /></a></p>
<p>The overall design of the Vive Focus 3 reflects substantial improvements in various spheres that make the headset a top-notch alternative for businesses. The excellent audio output of the device also lends support to the robust design philosophy behind the conceptualization and implementation of the Vive Focus 3. HTC says it has produced an enhanced audio output that will guarantee audio privacy, limiting the amount of sound that outsiders can hear. The headset has a touch-style analog stick, two triggers, two face buttons, and one menu button on each controller. However, hand tracking is a functionality absent on the Vive Focus 3, unlike the Oculus Quest 2.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-389048" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3.jpg?x44794" alt="HTC Focus 3 5K VR headset" width="2000" height="1124" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3.jpg 2000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-3-1920x1079.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px" /></a></p>
<p>According to <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/htc">HTC</a> Vive’s general manager Dan O’Brien, the Vive Focus 3 is a better product than the Oculus Quest 2 in terms of screen resolution, swappable battery, and overall ergonomics and performance. The company feels the product is a better device than the Quest 2. It also does not need a Social Media account to sign in to the device, unlike the Quest 2. O’Brien insists that the company still has a focus on consumer products, although it will continue to lean towards the enterprise segment as a sustainable business model at this time.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-389050" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="2000" height="1583" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5.jpg 2000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5-300x237.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5-768x608.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5-1024x810.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5-696x551.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5-1068x845.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5-531x420.jpg 531w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-5-1920x1520.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px" /></a></p>
<p><strong>HTC Vive Pro 2</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">On its part, the Vive Pro 2 also features a revamped 5K screen and 120Hz refresh rate. It is a highly comfortable headset and will cost $749 on its own and $1,399 with the SteamVR base stations and Vive controllers. The Vive Pro 2 also has an expansive 120-degree field of view, by deploying a stacked dual-lens system.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-389047" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-2.jpg?x44794" alt="HTC Vive Pro 2" width="675" height="380" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-2.jpg 675w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/htc-vive-pro-2-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px" /></a></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Pre-orders for the Vive Pro 2 standalone model have kicked off and the full VR kit will be available on June 4th for $1,399. The Vive Focus 3 will be sold for $1,300 and arrives June 27th.</span></p>

<p>The Vive Focus 3 Business Edition is a standalone headset that will be a successor to the Vive Focus Plus and would provide more improvements and features from its predecessor. HTC has in the past few years, produced some well-designed and comfortable headsets, and the two additions may not be different. The Vivecon event will be held from May 11th to 12th virtually. HTC had tweeted yesterday on the impending release of a VR headset and provided a view of one of the devices, as a promotion for the Vivecon 2021 event. The tweet teased that the company is about to unveil transformative technology for businesses by deploying virtual reality.</p>
<p>The VR headsets had been sighted specifically on European e-commerce site Alzashop with price tags of $1,772 for the Vive Focus 3 and $1,012 for the Vive Pro 2, respectively. Although the post was quickly taken down, it provides some insights into the likelihood of the devices being unveiled very soon. The Alzashop listing also mentioned May 20 as the release date for both devices.</p>

<p>HTC will be competing with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/06/24/facebook-is-discontinuing-its-oculus-go-vr-headset/">Oculus</a>, which is a leader in that segment of the mid-range and high-end segment of VR headsets for businesses. In April, a World Design Guide leak showed that HTC was designing a fitness-oriented VR headset called the Vive Air which could be comparable to the Oculus Quest. It was speculated that this was just a design concept, but the new HTC VR headsets could bear close semblance with the leaked Vive Air.</p>
