As expected the Infinix Hot 50 5G has launched in India today. It arrives as the successor to the last year’s Hot 40. The latest offering packs significant upgrades over its predecessor including a high refresh rate display, a Dimensity processor, and more. It also carries a budget price tag. Infinix Hot 50 5G specs

The Infinx Hot 50 5G features a large 6.7-inch screen with a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout that shows notifications like incoming calls, battery status and is called Dynamic Bar. The device offers an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate along with 500 nits peak brightness. Design-wise, the smartphone has a pill-shaped camera island and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. 

On the optics front, the Infinix Hot 50 5G comes with a 48MP Sony IMX582 main sensor and a depth lens. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper. The phone packs features like AI cam, portrait, super night, slow motion, timelapse, and more. 

Internally, the Infinix Hot 50 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It is coupled with 4GB RAM along with 4GB virtual RAM and 128GB native storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion and needs. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. Software-wise, it ships with XOS 14 based on Android 14. 

The Infinix Hot 50 5G starts at Rs 9,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant whereas the 8GB + 128GB option costs Rs 10,999. It comes in Sleek Black, Sage Green, Vibrant Blue, and Dreamy Purple colors. The smartphone can be purchased from Flipkart starting September 9.

Infinix is preparing to introduce the new Hot 50 series. This series will consist of 5 models: Hot 50, Hot 50 5G, Hot 50 Pro, Hot 50 Pro+ and Hot 50i. Of course, there is no information about the technical specifications of these devices. We can confirm that Infinix will be introducing 5 new Hot 50 series smartphones. The top-end model of the series will be the Hot 50 Pro+. Another detail is that, as usual, the Hot 50i model will be an affordable smartphone and will not offer any significant improvements.

Unlike the Hot 40 series, the brand is customizing the base model in 2 different variants in this new series. The 4G-only Infinix Hot 50 4G and the Infinix Hot 50 5G, feature a 5G modem that is not limited to 4G only. This is a significant difference compared to the previous Hot 40 series. With 5G smartphones getting a lot of attention lately, Infinix has made such a change. With this latest change, the brand is expected to achieve a significant rise in the smartphone market.

The Hot 50 series features are currently unknown. But with different leaks in the near future, the technical specs of the smartphone may be revealed. We will see this over time.
