AnTuTu’s latest Android performance rankings for April are in, and not much has changed from last month. The same phones are at the top with iQOO still leading the pack with iQOO 15 Ultra. 

The iQOO 15 Ultra is the best performing phone for April with a score of 4,126,940. Close behind is the iQOO 15 with 4,102,621. Both devices rely on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, and are tuned aggressively for performance with a good thermal management. 

Right behind them is the Red Magic 11 Pro+, scoring 4,098,742. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 too, but has 24GB RAM paired with 1TB storage. 

What stands out more broadly is the chipset split. Out of the top ten Android phones this month, nine are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Ultra Gen5. The only exception is the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, which uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 and ranks sixth in the chart. 

Compared to March, the overall structure hasn’t changed dramatically. The iQOO 15 Ultra was already in first place then, even posting a slightly higher score of 4,174,911. Devices like the Red Magic 11 Pro+ and iQOO 15 were also present in the upper tier, though their positions have adjusted slightly. 

AnTuTu mid-range phones and tablets ranking for April

The mid-range, or what AnTuTu classifies as “sub-flagship,” tells a different story. Here, MediaTek has a stronger foothold. The iQOO Z11 leads this category with 2,323,047 points, powered by the Dimensity 8500. It’s followed by the Honor Power2 and Oppo K15 Pro, both also running on Dimensity chips.

On the tablet side, performance is increasingly mirroring flagship phones. The Vivo Pad 6 Pro takes the top spot with a score of 4,095,813. It’s followed by the Legion Tablet Y700 5th Generation and the Oppo Pad 5 Pro. All three use the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. 

Looking back at March, the tablet category has seen a small shift at the top, with Lenovo’s Legion tablet previously holding first place. Now, Vivo has moved ahead, though the overall performance range remains largely similar.

AnTuTu’s Android performance rankings for February 2026 are out, and there’s a new device at the top.

The iQOO 15 Ultra has claimed the number one spot on the flagship list, ending the recent streak of the Red Magic 11 Pro+. With an average score of 4.2 million points, the iQOO phone now sets the pace for Android performance this month. 

The Red Magic 11 Pro+, which had held onto first place in previous rankings, slips to second with an average of 4.16 million. Irrespective of numbers, both phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. 

In third place is the Vivo X300 Pro Satellite Communication Edition, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset. It posts an average score of 4.08 million. Not to mention, it’s also the only MediaTek-powered phone on the list. 

It’s all Snapdragon moving forward

From the Realme GT 8 Pro at fourth to the Redmi K90 Pro Max at tenth spot, all use a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip at the helm.

So it’s unsurprising to say that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 has become the mainstream choice for high-end Android devices. Multiple phones powered by the chip are now comfortably crossing the 4 million mark in AnTuTu’s scoring system. 

It’s also worth noting how AnTuTu calculates these rankings. The published score reflects the average of all benchmark results recorded for each model during the month, not the single highest score a device may achieve.

That means the numbers can differ from marketing claims or isolated screenshots circulating online. In theory, the average score should provide a more realistic reference point for day-to-day performance.

Motherboard pricing depends on the memory and storage configuration. The 16GB+512GB option is priced at 3,260 yuan ($456), the 16GB+1TB version at 3,650 yuan ($511), and the top-tier 24GB+1TB model at 3,850 yuan ($539).

iQOO has priced the front camera module at 90 yuan ($13). The main rear camera costs 295 yuan ($41), the telephoto module costs 285 yuan ($40), and the ultra-wide camera costs 115 yuan ($16).

On Aug. 1, iQOO will host a special “Honor of Kings” 5v5 tournament at its ChinaJoy booth, where eight teams will be selected on-site for a competitive showdown. The winning team will be rewarded with a free iQOO 15 for each player once its launched later this year. This campaign is being used to build hype around the iQOO 15 without giving away too many product details before the official reveal.

Leaks suggest the iQOO 15 series will include two devices, such as the iQOO 15 and 15 Ultra. The entire series will be packed with top-notch hardware, including a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO OLED screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, and a triple rear camera setup with all three sensors rated at 50 megapixels, as well as a 3x periscope telephoto lens with a mid-sized sensor.

Gaming performance is also a key focus, with iQOO’s self-developed discrete display chip making a return, and rumors indicating a battery size over 7,000mAh. The Ultra edition is expected to feature an active cooling fan and gaming trigger buttons. The series is also expected to feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and wireless charging support. It is expected to break cover in October this year in China.

iQOO is reportedly working on its next flagship series—the iQOO 15. The lineup is said to include the standard iQOO 15 and the iQOO 15 Ultra. In a new leak, the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has mentioned the camera configuration of both models. 

iQOO 15 series camera specifications tipped

As per the leak, the standard and Ultra versions of the iQOO 15 will feature the SM8850 chip (tentative name: Snapdragon 8 Elite 2). Reports have revealed that the next-gen processor is based on Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU architecture and is expected to deliver impressive benchmark scores — over 4,000 points in single-core and more than 11,000 in multi-core on Geekbench 6.

The leak reveals that both models feature a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera with a medium-sized sensor. He added that that the entire camera setup could consist of three 50-megapixel sensors, covering primary, telephoto, and ultra-wide roles.

According to earlier leaks, the iQOO 15 Ultra may feature a flat 6.85-inch Samsung 2K LTPO panel with extremely thin bezels. This display is said to support Pol-less polarisation removal, anti-reflective coating, and is made using a new LIPO packaging technology that significantly reduces bezel size while maintaining signal stability and clarity. The screen is also reportedly the most expensive panel in the brand’s sub-series yet.

The Ultra edition is also expected to include gaming shoulder buttons, an active cooling fan, and wireless charging support. These features could be absent on the standard edition. The Ultra model is also said to be equipped with a 7,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. The iQOO 15 series is expected to launch in October this year in China.

The iQOO 10 to 12 series included both standard and Pro models, but last year, the brand only launched the iQOO 13, skipping the Pro variant. According to reports, the upcoming iQOO 15 series will consist of two models. A new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the standard model will be joined by an Ultra edition.

iQOO 15 Ultra

The iQOO 15 series phone with higher configuration could be called the iQOO 15 Ultra when it hits the market, claims tipster Digital Chat Station. The leak reveals that the device will be equipped with a large 2K screen with a flat design. This could be the same 6.85-inch flat Samsung display with LIPO technology that is expected to be available on the standard model. This device will also feature a periscope camera and wireless charging support.

The iQOO 15 Ultra is also being tested with shoulder buttons for gaming and an active cooling fan, which may not be available on the standard version. Another Weibo post by the same source reveals that this high-end device is also being tested with a new mid-range periscope lens featuring a 50-megapixel sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, and approximately 1/1.95-inch sensor size.

A newer leak by DCS reveals that the standard model will feature a 6.85-inch flat Samsung display with LIPO technology. This is a new display packaging tech that will allow the screen to sport slimmer, symmetrical bezels. The device will also feature a periscope telephoto camera.

Both devices are expected to be powered by the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and feature the company’s independent display chip. The entire series could be equipped with a metal middle frame, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, and an IP68/69-rated chassis. Previous leaks have suggested that the Ultra edition may house a 7,000mAh+ battery with 100W charging.
