Lenovo has just announced various new laptops during the CES 2024 event. But the PCs weren’t alone, as the company also unveiled a bunch of new peripherals like the new Legion M410 Wireless RGB Gaming Mouse and the Legion K510 Pro Mini Gaming Keyboard. So here are all the details regarding the latest Legion gaming products.

Lenovo Legion Gaming Mouse & Mini Keyboard

As the name suggests, the M410 is a wireless gaming mouse that features RGB lighting. Looking at its design, the body appears to be built with translucent material with internal mechanisms being barely visible. This also enables the RGB lighting to shine through the insides. Like most gaming mouse, it comes with side buttons on the left side, which means it favors right handed gamers despite having an ambidextrous design. It features up to 16,000 DPI and supports 2.4GHz wireless connection and wired support.

The Legion gaming mouse is rechargeable and promises up to 53 hours of battery life on a single full charge. The brand states customizable buttons are rated for up to 30 million clicks and a 2-zone RGB lighting is housed within the body. Lenovo’s new Legion K510 Mini Pro Keyboard is built for gamers who prefer more real estate on their desktop. It features a 75-percent size form factor and comes with mechanical switches that support anti-ghosting. The model offers arrow and function keys, with each key housing RGB that outputs 16.8 million colors.

Unfortunately, the pricing details for both the Legion M410 Wireless RGB Gaming Mouse and the Legion K510 Pro Mini Keyboard have yet to be announced. There is no news regarding the gaming keyboard’s availability either, but the M410 wireless gaming mouse is expected to be released sometime in May 2024.
Lenovo has just announced a brand-new gaming laptop from its popular Legion series. The Legion R7000 is the latest notebook built for gaming and it features some capable specs and features. So here are all the details.

Lenovo Legion R7000 Specs

The new Lenovo Legion R7000 model is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 7840H processor that is paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. This GPU features 8GB of VRAM and brings in DLSS technology for smoother gaming performance with Ray Tracing enabled. Under the hood, the notebook houses 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 storage. On the front, the Legion R7000 sports a 15.6-inch Full HD display that offers 300 nits of peak brightness, DC dimming support, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The Chinese PC maker has announced the Legion R7000 for a price tag of 6,499 Yuan (roughly 909 US Dollars). The pre-orders for the laptop will kick off today (8th December 2023), while the first sale will begin on 11th December 2023. Other notable features include a 100 percent sRGB color gamut, 100W PD charging support, and a TrueStrike Keyboard that has a 1.5mm travel.

Interestingly enough, the Legion R7000 seems to be the direct successor to the R7000P, which was announced back in June 2022. The Legion R7000P was announced alongside the R9000P and features up to an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H CPU and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. Unlike the new Legion R7000, the R7000P offers a smoother 165Hz refresh rate. So the 2023 gaming laptop clearly arrives with improved hardware over its predecessor.

Gaming laptops require a significant amount of power to run the high-end hardware they come equipped with, including powerful graphics cards and processors. As a result, the power adapters for gaming laptops are much larger and heavier than those for standard laptops. These adapters can be as big as a brick and weigh a pound or more, making them quite bulky and difficult to carry around. This size is necessary to deliver the high wattage and voltage required to power the gaming laptop’s components.

Lenovo has come up with a solution to the cumbersome size of power adapters for gaming laptops with its latest product release. At the Lenovo Savior spring ecological new product launch conference, Lenovo introduced the C140 GaN charger, which delivers a high power output of 140W. Even though gaming laptops require a significant amount of power to run, the C140 GaN charger is small in size but still able to achieve about 80% of the performance of ordinary adapters. As per test data, popular MOBA game DOTA 2 was played at the highest image quality, and while doing so, the frame rate using the original 300W adapter was 182. On the other hand, the frame rate using the 140W charger was 142. This is quite impressive for a charger which is less than half the wattage of the original power brick.

This charger is compatible with the Lenovo Legion series gaming notebooks, and it supports PD3.1, QC3.0, PPS3.0, and other fast charging protocols. The charger has a sleek design, a volume of 66.2×65×30.6mm, and a weight of about 270g, which is 26% of the original 300W charger of the Legion series notebooks. The C140 GaN charger is available for pre-order on the e-commerce platform for 269 yuan (~$39), with an initial price of 199 yuan (~$29). The pre-orders have already begun, and the charger will go on sale on April 7.

Under the hood, the gaming laptop will be equipped with either an Intel i9-13900HX, i7-13700HX, and even the i5-13500HX processor configurations. Furthermore, the CPU will be paired with 140W variants of the Nvidia RTX 4070, RTX 4060, or even the RTX 4050 graphics card. It will be powered by an 80Wh battery pack.

It will also offer 500 nits of peak brightness, HDR support, 10bit color, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, G-Sync support, 3ms response time, and Dolby Vision as well. This model will also house DDR5 5600MHz memory, 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, a 720p webcam with Tobi Horizon, and Wi-Fi 6E support.

Legion Y7000P

Among the new Legion Y series of gaming laptops, Lenovo will be unveiling a mid range Legion model that features an i7-13700H or an i5-13500H processor. Alongside the latest Intel chips, the brand will offer either an NVIDIA RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 GPUs that have a TDP of 140W.
Earlier today (9th March 2023), Lenovo launched a new power adapter for one of its Legion gaming laptops. The new adapter in question is the C140 Power Adapter model that is built fort the 2023 Legion Y900P gaming notebook.

The Chinese PC maker has released the new power adapter to be an alternative for the original adapter that the Y9000P ships with. C140 model basically comes in a more compact and portable form factor, meaning it is smaller than the original adapter and is better suited for those that travel often or work/game on the go. As the name suggests, the new GaN adapter offers 140W power output with a single USB Type C port.

This is quite impressive considering this marks a rise from the 135W charging prowess over its predecessors, despite having a compact design. Furthermore, the company is offering the new C140 power adapter in two color options, namely White and Black. According to official notes, Lenovo’s new Legion Y9000P 2023 series gaming laptops support 140W portable fast charging.

Thanks to this, it can reach 92 percent of the actual game frame rate that it could achieve with the original adapter. For those unaware, the Legion laptops are equipped with beefy components that are quite power hungry. Thus, the Legion Y9000P 2023 edition’s top end model features a 330W GaN adapter, which can run the gaming laptop that has a total power draw of 250W.

The Lenovo Legion Electric lift table T7 has a rectangular top. The tabletop comes with a matte finish and has round corners. Its legs are triangular in structure and are made with the help of a cold-welding process, which makes them more stable than the traditional T-shaped legs.

Judging from its features, the Electric lift table T7 appears to be fast, quiet, and sturdy. The lifting range of the table is between 68 to 128cm, making it suitable for users with a height of 130 to 190cm.

In addition to its lifting function, the T7 lift table also features magnetic cable organizers, storage compartments, harnesses, and other storage features. Moreover, it can be equipped with accessories like perforated boards.

The new gaming notebook will be a part of the company’s Legion branding, with the new teaser officially revealing the design of the Legion Y7000P.

The new teaser was shared on the company’s official Weibo account (a Chinese microblogging website) and showcases the design of the Legion Y7000P prior to its official launch. Looking at this image poster, we can tell that the laptop’s hinge can support up to 180 degree movements. In other words, the display can be bent backward till it is completely flat. Although, the highlight of the design wasn’t its hinge, rather, its thinness.

The Chinese brand has managed to make the latest Legion laptop even thinner than its previous iteration, with an emphasis on making it thin and light. As per official notes, the 2022 Legion Y7000P adopts a new design that makes it appear more squarish, with a unique “industrial aesthetic.” Furthermore, it appears that the new gaming laptop will also feature more metallic material for its build.

Lenovo further added that the 2022 Legion Y7000P is about 11.6 percent thinner than the previous generation is and also lighter than its predecessors. As per previously released official teasers, the Legion Y7000P gaming laptop is set to feature a 2K display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 165Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, other finer details are still unknown at the moment, but the company is expected to launch a number of new laptops from its Legion lineup soon. So stay tuned for more updates.

And just like Asus, Lenovo decided to launch the phone under its famous gaming PC line-up: Legion. During the last months, a lot of leaks came up and revealed several specifications of Lenovo’s first gaming phone.

We still do not know its complete name, but we know a lot about its features and we know it will be a very powerful and innovative flagship. In this rumor roundup, we gathered all the known details about the new gaming beast, including the info about its launch and its features. Note that some info is still unconfirmed officially and based on rumors and leaks. So, unless we tell you it is official info, take everything with a pinch of salt.

Lenovo Legion Phone rumor roundup

Design

Part of the design of the new Lenovo Legion phone appeared on leaked renders. But Lenovo was very clever to hide it, so we did not have the chance to see it in all its splendor. According to renders, the handset will sport a side-mounted motorized pop-up front camera. Legion has been expected to have a design centered on gaming, just like other gaming phones. But it brings an even more innovative design for gamers. Indeed, it has been designed entirely with landscape usage in mind.

That is why you get a side-mounted pop-up camera, a secondary USB-C port which can be used in landscape mode in order to charge the phone during gaming sessions, and rear cameras placed in the middle of the phone instead of towards the top: this way, your fingers won’t cover the cameras while you are using the phone in landscape mode. The pop-up camera mounted to the side of the phone is for streamers who want to live stream their games.

UPDATE July 19, 2020: a leaked press render (you can see it below) revealed a dual-tone design, trigger buttons, and more. You can learn more by clicking here.

Specs & Features

The Lenovo Legion phone will have a display with a classic Full HD+ resolution, but it will support a 144 Hz refresh rate: the highest ever seen on a phone. That means you will get the smoothest viewing experience, which is great for the most advanced games. The handset was recently spotted on both AnTuTu and Geekbench benchmarking platforms which revealed its hardware department. The Lenovo Legion phone will be powered by the new Snapdragon 865+ mobile platform, as officially confirmed by the company.

The new Qualcomm’s chipset was announced a few days ago and it offers a 10% performance improvement compared to the vanilla Snapdragon 865. The new SoC will be paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 native storage: we expect several memory configurations to be available. We expect configurations with 8, 12, and 16 GB of RAM, as well as storage choices like 256 GB and 512 GB. In the CPU and GPU tests on AnTuTu, the Lenovo gaming phone scored 187,401 and 246,980 benchmarking scores, respectively.

Overall, the handset scored 648,871 points, which is one of the highest scores ever seen on a phone. On Geekbench, the Lenovo Legion gaming phone scored 4,556 points in single-core performance and 13,438 points in multi-core. Android 10 will be naturally installed out of the box, customized by a gaming-centric user interface. The gaming-grade OS is equipped with good-looking animation and designed to deliver an uncompromising interactive experience. The handset will also support 5G (thanks to the Snapdragon X55 external modem) and WiFi 6.

The phone can connect to WiFi and 5G networks simultaneously in order to provide better connectivity. The company teased the presence of a battery supporting a mammoth 90W fast charging technology, which would be the fastest commercial one ever seen. The new technology is expected to deliver a full charge to a 4000 mAh battery in 15-20 minutes. According to rumors, the battery of the Lenovo Legion gaming phone will have a 5050 mAh capacity.

UPDATE Jul 19, 2020: the phone will feature a 5000 mAh battery which charges in just 30 minutes thanks to a 90W fast charging technology. You can learn more by clicking here.

It appeared on 3C listings with a 45W charger, identified by the model number L79031. The gaming phone will reportedly feature a 3D cooling tower structure with dual heat pipe partition for long-lasting cooling. It will even sport positive stereo sound from 65 mm dual speakers, dual 0.6 mm amp speaker system, and 1.4cc large sound cavity. There will even be a dual X-axis linear motor for a more immersive haptic feedback. On the rear side, there will be a dual camera including a main sensor with a 64 MP resolution and an ultrawide lens with a 16 MP resolution. Unfortunately, there will not be any telephoto lens, and probably no OIS. Users will also get an in-display fingerprint reader.

Over the last few months, Lenovo had been teasing its first gaming smartphone, especially through Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website. One of the most interesting ones was the fact that the device can fast charge at rates up to 90W. And now, a new report has shared screenshots of an unreleased teaser video that reveals more tidbits regarding the Legion handset.

Looking at the screenshots, Lenovo teases its 90W fast charging technology again, which will be supported through two USB Type C ports (on the bottom and one of the sides during gaming). Through this image, we can observe that the rear panel has an LED flash right in the middle just below its dual camera setup which is also placed uniquely near the center of the back panel. The overall aesthetics of the device hints at gaming with angular designs that simulate speed and power through 3D textures.

Among the leaked screenshots, a few other details were also revealed. This includes Lenovo Legion’s new uEngine technology, which is its symmetrical dual X-axis linear vibration motor and hints at the device’s cooling and audio capabilities. The gaming phone will reportedly feature a 3D cooling tower structure with dual heat pipe partitions for long-lasting cooling. For audio, it will sport positive stereo sound from its full symmetrical 65mm dual speakers, dual 0.6mm amp speaker system, and 1.4cc large sound cavity.

Notably, the Legion logo can also be observed on the back on top of which a side mounted popup camera is also housed. The selfie camera’s placement is quite interesting, to say the least, and the company probably made the move for a full front display design. Furthermore, the report also revealed that the device carried the model number L79031 and is codenamed “moba.” Unfortunately, this has yet to be confirmed officially so stay tuned.

The announcement was made a few weeks ago and it was revealed the phone will launch under Lenovo’s Legion gaming brand. Today, a new poster has been released and it teases the phone’s fast charging technology.

A rough translation of the words on the poster asks “Is 55W (fast charging) really enough?”. It seems that Lenovo is taking a shot at the iQOO 3 5G that launched today and which has support for 55W fast charging support.

Based on the above, one can deduce the Legion Gaming Smartphone will have support for fast charging that exceeds 55W.

The other text on the poster asks fans to guess what the battery level will be after charging for 15 minutes and also how long it will take to reach 100%.

So far, 65W is the highest power rating we have seen on a commercially available smartphone, and since the poster doesn’t ask if 65W is enough, we are sure the power rating for the Legion phone will not surpass that.

It has been confirmed that the Legion Gaming Smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. We expect it will have the Snapdragon X55 modem for 5G too.

The phone will launch first in China and there is a possibility of a global release since the Legion brand is not limited to China.

There is an often forgotten solution to this problem, namely external GPUs. Now, Lenovo has just revealed its take on it to boost its Legion lineup of gaming laptops. The upcoming eGPU will be seen at CES 2020 (Consumer Electronics Show) alongside multiple gaming related peripherals for its Legion range.

Lenovo Legion BoostStation eGPU

Lenovo Legion BoostStation is capable of housing an additional storage unit in the form of either an SSD or HHD with a 3.5 inch or 2.5 inch slot. It is also equipped with ports like an HDMI, USB 3.1 (2x), USB 2.0 (1x) and an ethernet port. This essentially makes the package an external hard drive, dock, eGPU and power solution; all accessible through a single cable to users’ laptops.

The BoostStation connects to a laptop of one’s choice via a Thunderbolt 3 port and supports a varied range of the latest full sized GPUs that are currently available in the market. These offerings include options from both Team Green (NVIDIA) and Team Red (AMD), namely (and not limited to) GeForce RTX 2080 and Radeon RX 5700 XT.

Lenovo Mobile’s official account on Weibo released a render of the front of the phone a few hours back. This image confirms that the phone will be released in partnership with Lenovo’s Legion brand. For those who don’t know, Legion is a gaming focus brand by the PC giant, which was unveiled a couple of years back. It’s similar to Acer’s Predator lineup and ASUS’ ROG series. Given its association with the company’s gaming brand, it’s evident that the Lenovo Z6 Pro will come with some gaming-centric features.

Apart from this brand partnership, we can also figure out more about the phone’s front. After playing around with the brightness of the image, it is revealed that the Lenovo Z6 Pro will come with super thin bezels at the bottom. In other areas, bezels are basically non-existent. Even on top, the earpiece fits inside a very thin profile, ensuring the overall screen to body ratio is extremely high. Of course, this information is derived from the render and not the actual device. Given how official teasers like to hide the real bezels on its smartphones, we would have to wait and see whether the real Z6 Pro has such a high screen to body ratio.

Apart from its super thin bezels, the phone is confirmed to feature an overclocked version of Snapdragon 855. Further, it will be equipped with HyperVision camera with a special video mode called HyperVideo. An earlier teaser revealed that HyperVideo is most likely the ability of the smartphone to capture macro+slo-mo videos. Apart from this, there are also rumors about the Z6 Pro being able to capture 100MP camera samples. However, we haven’t got any more details about it.

With less than 15 days left for its official launch, expect more teasers from the company in the coming days.
