Today, Lenovo has confirmed one of the features that have been upgraded is the front-facing camera.</p>
<p>According to a Weibo post by the official Legion Gaming Phone account, the Legion 2 Pro will have a 44MP front-facing camera. That is a big jump from the 20MP camera of the Legion Duel/Legion Pro.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-381890" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Lenovo-Legion-2-Pro.jpg?x10805" alt="Lenovo Legion 2 Pro front-facing camera" width="690" height="1227" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Lenovo-Legion-2-Pro.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Lenovo-Legion-2-Pro-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Lenovo-Legion-2-Pro-576x1024.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Lenovo-Legion-2-Pro-236x420.jpg 236w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p>The attached poster also reveals that the front-facing camera will be a motorized pop-up camera that slides out from the side just like on last year&#8217;s model.</p>
<p>Lenovo&#8217;s new gaming phone is not the only phone with a 44MP front-facing camera this year. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-s9/">Vivo S9</a> and the recently announced <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-s30-pro/">ZTE S30 Pro</a> both have 44MP front-facing cameras too.</p>

<p>As usual, we have entries from well-known brands like <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo">OPPO</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme">realme</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/nokia">Nokia</a>, and a few surprises from companies like <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/sony">Sony</a> and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/tcl">TCL</a>. So without wasting your time, let&#8217;s dive into it straight away.</p>
<h3><strong>Redmi Gaming Smartphone</strong></h3>
<p>Gaming smartphones have their own niche audience and companies like <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/asus">ASUS</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/nubia">Nubia</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/black-shark">Black Shark</a> never fail to tap into the excitement. However, they are going to have a new entry and probably a potential rival, Redmi.</p>
<p>Redmi&#8217;s Product Director Wang Teng has confirmed that the company will hold a launch event this month and rumors are rife that the star of the show could be the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi-gaming-phone">Redmi&#8217;s first gaming phone</a>. So far, we know that a device with model number <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/31/redmi-gaming-phone-with-dimensity-1200-could-be-rebranded-as-poco-handset/">M2104K10C/M2104K10I</a> under respective brands Redmi/POCO could be the upcoming device.</p>
<p>It is confirmed to feature MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset something that we saw in the likes of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/31/realme-gt-neo-china-launch-price-specs-features/">realme GT Neo as well</a>.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy F12, F02s</strong></h3>
<p>Samsung is beginning the month by launching two devices under the F-series- Galaxy F12, Galaxy F02s on April 5. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/04/01/samsung-galaxy-f02s-f12-to-launch-on-april-5-key-specs-appear-on-flipkart/">Teasers so far hint</a> that they share a lot of specs with the already launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/11/samsung-galaxy-m12-india-launch-price-specs-features/">Galaxy M12</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/07/samsung-galaxy-m02s-with-snapdragon-450-5000mah-battery-and-13mp-triple-cameras-launched-for-rs-8999-123/">M02s</a>.</p>

<h3><strong>Other expected launches</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>
<h3><strong>realme 8 5G, realme 8i</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>realme has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/26/realme-8-5g-8i-india-launch-soon/">already confirmed</a> that it will launch a 5G version of the realme 8 and a budget-friendly realme 8i in India. Out of this, the realme 8 5G has already stopped at FCC certification.</li>
<li>However, this launch might skipped to next month as well so take this with a pinch of salt.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<h4><strong>Vivo V21 series</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Vivo V21 series was rumored to come before in India but that hasn&#8217;t happened yet. The company had other ideas and brought a flagship <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/25/vivo-x60-pro-plus-india-launch-price-specs-features/">X60 series</a> to the country. However, it could soon launch one of the supposed members of the V21 series- <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo-v21-se">Vivo V21 SE</a>.</li>
<li>Reports reveal that it could be a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/22/vivo-v21-se-dimensity-800u-arrive-soon-india/">rebadged version of the iQOO U3</a> which means it could come with a Dimensity 800U chipset with 5G support. Let&#8217;s hope that Vivo doesn&#8217;t skip any further.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<h4><strong>Oppo A74 4G &amp; 5G, A94 &amp; A54 5G</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>OPPO is said to bring the remaining devices of the OPPO Axx series and it might happen this month. The company has already unveiled the OPPO A54 4G version already. Next in line could be the OPPO A74, A54, and A94 5G models.</li>
<li>The OPPO A74 4G is said to come in certain markets as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/04/01/oppo-a74-4g-spotted-at-geekbench-likely-to-debut-as-rebranded-oppo-f19/">rebranded OPPO F19</a> while the 5G version could have Snapdragon 480 chipset.</li>
<li>On the other hand, the OPPO A94 5G could be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/18/oppo-f19-pro-plus-5g-reno5-z-5g-asia-a94-5g-europe-rebrand/">OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G for Europe</a> whereas OPPO A54 5G is said to be a rebadged version of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/15/oppo-a93-5g-with-90hz-display-snapdragon-480-48mp-cameras-launched-in-china/">OPPO A93 5G</a>.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<h4><strong>Huawei P50 series</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>When it comes to <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a>, things haven&#8217;t been so smooth lately. The company is struggling a lot to gather the supply chain after the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-us-ban">US ban</a> and it is hitting them hard. Previously rumored to come this month, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/29/huawei-p50-harmonyos-new-report/">launch of the Huawei P50 series</a> looks to be a far cry for now.</li>
<li>However, anything can happen in between so let&#8217;s hope that Huawei turns tables to come back stronger.</li>

With less than 5 days remaining for the launch, the company has confirmed today that the Legion 2 Pro will have a similar charging tech and a slightly better battery.</p>
<p>In a Weibo post, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/lenovo">Lenovo</a> has confirmed that Legion 2 Pro will come with a 5,500mAh battery and 90W Super Flash charging. The battery capacity is about 10% higher than the 5,000mAh on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-legion-pro">Legion Pro</a>. Talking about the charging tech, it is unclear if it&#8217;s a sole 90W or a split-up of two 45W.</p>
<p>A few weeks ago, a Lenovo L70081 5G device speculated to be Legion 2 Pro <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/12/alleged-lenovo-legion-2-pro-receives-3c-certification/">got 3C certification</a> in China. It revealed that the device has support for 65W and 45W charging protocols. Besides, the predecessor had two USB-C ports and hence supported up to a total of 90W charging.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Legion-2-pro-battery-charging.jpg?x10805" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-381833 size-medium" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Legion-2-pro-battery-charging-169x300.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="169" height="300" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Legion-2-pro-battery-charging-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Legion-2-pro-battery-charging-576x1024.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Legion-2-pro-battery-charging-236x420.jpg 236w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Legion-2-pro-battery-charging.jpg 690w" sizes="(max-width: 169px) 100vw, 169px" /></a></p>
<p>If the pattern continues, then the <a href="https://weibo.com/7356339351/K9abvu9q2">successor</a> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/lenovo-legion-2-pro">Lenovo Legion 2 Pro</a> could also have the same implementation but let&#8217;s wait for official info.  Lenovo has already confirmed that Legion 2 Pro will come with a 6.92-inch 144Hz <span style="font-weight: 400">Samsung E4 AMOLED </span>display.</p>
<p>Further, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/04/01/lenovo-legion-2-pro-variants-and-key-specs-revealed-through-master-lu-benchmarks/">Master Lu benchmarks revealed</a> that the display resolution would be 1080 x 2460 pixels i.e., FHD+ and have a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Legion 2 Pro will feature <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-888">Snapdragon 888</a> chipset and come paired with either 12GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB RAM/storage options.</p>
<p>Other expected specs include a  <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/03/lenovo-legion-2-pro-dual-turbo-cooling-system/">dual-turbo cooling fan</a>, run Android 11 OS, and more. Let&#8217;s wait for more teasers next week.</p>

The alleged phone that has a model number L70081 was recently spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The same handset has now received certification from the 3C authority of China.</p>
<p>The 3C listing of the Lenovo L70081 5G phone mentions two power adapters with model numbers LC-658 and SC-88. They carry support for 65W and 45W fast charging, respectively. The listing has no other information on its specifications.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-376752" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Lenovo-L70081-3C.png?x10805" alt="Lenovo L70081 3C" width="1738" height="333" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Lenovo-L70081-3C.png 1738w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Lenovo-L70081-3C-300x57.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Lenovo-L70081-3C-768x147.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Lenovo-L70081-3C-1024x196.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Lenovo-L70081-3C-696x133.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Lenovo-L70081-3C-1068x205.png 1068w" sizes="(max-width: 1738px) 100vw, 1738px" /></p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-legion-pro">Lenovo Legion Pro</a> handset carried support for 90W fast charging. However, it required users to connect two 45W chargers to the two USB-C ports of the smartphone simultaneously. It remains to be seen whether the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro comes with dual USB-C ports. If it supports connecting two 65W chargers at the same time, the handset may offer charge speeds of up to 110W.</p>
<p>Lenovo is yet to reveal the features of the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro. So far, it has only revealed that the device will arrive with a dual-turbo cooling fan. As expected, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/09/lenovo-legion-2-pro-with-snapdragon-888-and-16gb-ram-spotted-at-geekbench/">Geekbench listing of the device</a> revealed that it will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-888/">Snapdragon 888</a> mobile platform. It also revealed other specs like 16 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS.</p>
<p>The two recently announced gaming phones such as the Red Magic 6 Pro and ASUS ROG Phone 5 Ultimate are both equipped with 18 GB of RAM. There is a possibility that the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro may also arrive in an 18 GB RAM edition. Last year’s model supported a 144Hz refresh rate. It is unclear whether the upcoming model will support a higher refresh rate of around 165Hz.</p>
