iQOO launched a couple of smartphones last year in China, but the iQOO 3 was the only handset that was made available in India. Recent reports have claimed that the company is planning to expand its product portfolio this year in India. XDA Developers’ Tushar Mehta had tweeted in February that the company could launch two or more devices including the iQOO 7 in India in the coming months starting from March. Yesterday, iQOO Indian Director Gagan Arora released a cryptic tweet. Probably, he could be teasing the arrival of the new iQOO phone(s) in India.

iQOO will be announcing the iQOO Neo5 smartphone in China on March 16. Interestingly, its Indian variant appeared at Geekbench recently with the I2012 model number. Last month, the iQOO 7’s Indian variant with the I2009 model number was spotted at Geekbench. Hence, it appears that the company be launching to launch both phones in India soon. It is unclear which of these devices will be breaking cover in India first.
