<p>Today, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/pete-lau">Pete Lau</a> has announced that Li Jie will be the President of OnePlus China and he will be responsible for the company&#8217;s operation in the Chinese market.</p>
<figure id="attachment_436288" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-436288" style="width: 854px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-436288 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Li-Jie-OnePlus-China-President.jpeg?x10805" alt="Li Jie, President of OnePlus China" width="854" height="854" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Li-Jie-OnePlus-China-President.jpeg 854w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Li-Jie-OnePlus-China-President-150x150.jpeg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Li-Jie-OnePlus-China-President-300x300.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Li-Jie-OnePlus-China-President-768x768.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Li-Jie-OnePlus-China-President-696x696.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Li-Jie-OnePlus-China-President-420x420.jpeg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 854px) 100vw, 854px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-436288" class="wp-caption-text">Li Jie, President of OnePlus China</figcaption></figure>
<p>Li Jie had joined OPPO in the year 2010 and during his 11 years of working at <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo">OPPO</a>, he has played many roles, ranging from product planning for the Find series smartphones, including strategic planning of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/hardware">hardware</a>, and product roadmap. He also served as the Head of User Operations for the company in China.</p>
<p>He says that he aims to act as a bridge between OnePlus and its customers to better convert the voice of the customers to his team. He is also hoping to provide better products and services to expand the brand&#8217;s footprints.</p>
<p>The development comes at a time when the company is gearing up to launch its next-generation <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/flagship-smartphone">flagship smartphones</a> under the OnePlus 10 lineup. It has already started taking pre-orders for the OnePlus 10 Pro, which is set to officially <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/01/04/oneplus-10-pro-goes-on-pre-sale-china/">launch on 11th January</a> in the Chinese market. If the reports are to be believed, then the global release of the device could take place sometime around March or April.</p>
