TCL has launched two new desktop gaming monitors, the 32X3B and 27X3B, in China. Both displays are built around fourth-generation Tandem WOLED panels and feature integrated, front-facing speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen.

TCL 32X3B and 27X3B Specifications

The higher-end 32X3B features a 32-inch fourth-generation Tandem WOLED panel with dual-mode operation, supporting 4K at 240Hz or 1080p at 480Hz. It also offers up to 1,500 nits peak brightness, native 10-bit colour, and 99.5% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

The port selection on the 32-inch model is fairly robust. It includes one DisplayPort 2.1 connection, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB-C port that handles up to 90W of power delivery. It also has a built-in KVM switch with two USB-A ports, making it easier to swap peripherals between a desktop and a plugged-in laptop.

The smaller TCL 27X3B is a 27-inch display with a 1440p resolution and a 280Hz refresh rate. It shares the same 1,500-nit peak brightness and color gamut specs as the 32-inch version, but its connectivity is more basic. It drops the USB-C port and KVM functionality, leaving one DisplayPort 1.4 connection, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Both monitors share a 6.4mm-thick chassis design that TCL calls Stargate, which includes rear ambient lighting and a tilt-adjustable stand. To address the text clarity issues that often plague WOLED panels, TCL is using a Matrix-Pure pixel structure designed to reduce color fringing around text and sharp edges.

The displays also use a glossy optical layer with circular polarization; TCL claims this reduces screen reflectivity to 1.1%, which should help maintain black levels if you are using the monitor in a bright room.

Instead of standard downward-firing monitor speakers, both models feature a front-facing speaker chamber developed with Bang & Olufsen. The audio is directed straight at the user and is managed by a dedicated DSP chip with multiple sound profiles.

For longevity, TCL has included its Kunlun Anti-Burn Shield system, a mix of thermal management and software algorithms designed to mitigate OLED burn-in over time.

Pricing and Availability

The TCL 32X3B has a retail price of 7,999 yuan ($1,180), with an early subsidized price of 6,499 yuan ($960). The 27X3B is priced at 4,999 yuan ($738), dropping to 3,699 yuan ($546) during the initial reservation period on JD.com.

For lighting, the monitor relies on a Mini LED backlight system. It features 180 local dimming zones, which helps improve black levels by turning off the backlight in darker areas of the screen. This setup gives the monitor a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, compared to its standard static contrast of 1000:1. It can also reach a peak brightness of 800 nits and has a DisplayHDR 600 certification.

On the color side, Thunderobot says the panel covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 99% of the sRGB space, with a factory color accuracy of ΔE < 2. It also includes support for variable refresh rates through AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility to help prevent screen tearing.

The physical hardware is fairly standard. The monitor measures 556 x 226 x 501 mm and weighs 5.3 kg with the stand attached, or 3.3 kg without it. The included grey stand allows for height adjustments and rotation, and there is a standard 100 x 100 mm VESA mount on the back if you prefer to use a monitor arm.

Asus is also leaning into the current industry trend by marketing ROG Gaming AI features. AOC is adding a new portable monitor to its lineup, but instead of a standard LCD or OLED panel, the company is opting for electronic paper. The AOC 13T5S is a 13.3-inch color E Ink monitor that has recently launched in China for 4,599 yuan ($679).

AOC 13T5S Specifications

The display relies on E Ink’s Kaleido 3 technology. It has a native resolution of 3200 x 2400, but because of how color e-paper functions, the pixel density changes depending on what you are looking at. Black-and-white text renders at a sharp 300 pixels per inch (PPI), while color elements drop to 150 PPI.

AOC is using an Oxide (IGZO) TFT backplane that allows for a 30Hz refresh rate. While 30Hz would be unusable for gaming or watching video on a standard monitor, it is actually quite fast for an E Ink panel, making basic scrolling and cursor movements much smoother than older e-paper screens.

To make the screen look and feel more like actual paper, the fully laminated panel is covered by 0.4mm AG anti-glare glass with a matte texture. AOC also included E Ink’s ComfortGaze front lighting system, which lets users adjust the brightness and color temperature from warm to cool depending on their ambient lighting.

To handle the ghosting issues that typically plague E Ink displays, the 13T5S uses a Dual T2000 TCON controller and an AI-assisted ghosting reduction system. This setup detects residual images left behind by previous pages and performs localized screen refreshes to clear them out without forcing the entire display to flash black and white.

Physically, the monitor has an anodized aluminum alloy chassis measuring 8mm thick and weighing about 700 grams. Connectivity is straightforward: it has two full-function USB-C ports that handle power, video, and data over a single cable. It is plug-and-play for Windows PCs, though AOC says that macOS compatibility will require a future OTG software update.

Redmi G27Q 240Hz

Before the 2026 edition, Xiaomi released the Redmi G27Q 240Hz, which is still worth looking at if it shows up on sale. It uses the same 27-inch 1440p Fast IPS panel design, running at 240Hz with a 1ms GTG response time and AMD FreeSync Premium support. 

It carries HDR400 certification with 400 nits peak brightness, and covers 95 percent DCI-P3 and 100 percent sRGB. It’s originally priced at around $206, but you can occasionally get it below $200. For a lower-cost option, the ViewSonic VA27G11-2 costs around $84, well under budget. It is a 27-inch 1080p IPS panel with a native 144Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 175Hz. Likewise, the response time is rated at 1ms MPRT and 5ms grey-to-gray, and brightness reaches 350 nits with a 1500:1 contrast ratio. 

The panel covers 100% sRGB and supports both AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync. You also get extra features like HDR10 support, a black stabilization mode, a built-in crosshair overlay, flicker-free backlighting, and hardware-level low blue light filtering. It is priced at around $150, making it one of the more affordable 200Hz monitors on the market. And not to forget, it also supports adaptive sync and includes a fully adjustable stand.

Which One to Pick

Of course, the right monitor for you depends on the budget, size, and features you want. The Alienware AW2526HL or the ViewSonic VA27G11-2 are good pick if you are considering a 1080p or fast refresh rate monitors.

If higher resolution is what you seek, the Redmi G27Q 240Hz or the KTC H27T22C-3 offer strong value. The newer Redmi G27Q 2026 is also worth watching for a wider release if 320Hz appeals to competitive players. Whichever model you choose, it’s better that you check that the monitor has at least FreeSync or G-Sync compatibility, and a lower response time. This will help you avoid a display that looks good on paper but struggles in fast motion.

Hisense has introduced a new line of entry-level monitors, the N3G Pro series, in China. The displays come in two sizes, 23.8 inches and 27 inches, and are designed for users looking for a high refresh rate on a strict budget.

Both models feature a 1080p resolution and an 180Hz refresh rate. They will be available starting July 9th, with the 23.8-inch model priced at 449 yuan ($65) and the 27-inch model at 549 yuan ($80) during the initial launch period.

Hisense N3G Pro Specifications

Both versions use an IPS panel, which is standard for this category, but they feature a 1500:1 contrast ratio. This is slightly higher than the 1000:1 ratio typically found on standard IPS panels, which helps produce darker blacks and better visibility in low-light scenes.

TCL‘s FFALCON has launched its latest monitor, the Thunderbird 25Q5A, in China. It is a 24.5-inch display that focuses on high-speed gaming at an affordable price. Also marketed as the 2026 FFALCON F6, the monitor is currently listed on JD.com for 839 yuan (roughly $122).

For color accuracy, the monitor covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut and 93% of the DCI-P3 color space. Thunderobot says that the displays are factory-calibrated to achieve a Delta E value of less than 2, ensuring standard color reproduction out of the box.

On the software and processing side, the 25Q5A supports AMD FreeSync Premium and is Nvidia G-Sync Compatible to prevent screen tearing. It also includes an MPRT-Plus smart backlight control system, which uses motion interpolation and zone-based lighting to further reduce blur.

Huawei recently announced the Qingyun M273U in China. It is a 27-inch 4K monitor built primarily for office and enterprise use, though it includes a few specifications that are more common in gaming displays.

Huawei is selling the monitor in two different versions: a Standard Edition and a Soft Light Edition. Folding screens have been common on phones for a while now, but they haven’t made much of a dent in the PC accessory space. Aura Displays is trying to change that with the Single Flex Pro, a new 13.3-inch portable monitor that uses a flexible AMOLED panel. The idea is straightforward: give people a decent-sized second screen that folds in half so it actually fits in a smaller bag without taking up too much room.

When it’s folded shut, the monitor measures about 6 by 9 inches and is just over half an inch thick. It weighs 1.54 pounds, which is fairly standard for portable monitors, but the folding mechanism makes its footprint much smaller when you are traveling. When you open it up, you get a 13.3-inch display with a 3:4 aspect ratio.

Aura Displays says it uses a proprietary hinge and panel design it calls FlexMatrix. In practice, this means you can use the screen completely flat, slightly bent, or propped up like an open book. You can also rotate it between standard landscape and portrait modes, which is generally useful if you spend a lot of time looking at code, spreadsheets, or long text documents.

As for the display itself, it’s an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1536 x 2048. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate and tops out at 300 nits of brightness. That brightness level is fine for an office or a coffee shop, but you probably won’t want to use it outside in direct sunlight.

Because it’s an OLED, you get deep blacks and good color coverage, and the screen also supports touch input. Connectivity is handled by a single USB-C port, making it a simple plug-and-play setup for Macs, Windows PCs, iPads, and most mobile devices.

Unsurprisingly, putting a folding OLED screen into a portable monitor makes it expensive. The Single Flex Pro is priced at $1,299. It’s clearly aimed at professionals who are willing to pay a heavy premium for portability.

If a 13.3-inch screen is too small for your daily setup, the company noted that a larger 17-inch model has finished development and should launch in June 2026. For now, the Single Flex Pro is simply an interesting look at how flexible screens might eventually replace the rigid portable monitors we’re used to carrying around.
