<p>Buying a smartphone under $500 in 2026 feels a bit like shopping in the middle aisle of a supermarket. You don’t walk in expecting luxury items, but suddenly there are plenty of surprisingly good things.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A few years ago, this price range meant making obvious compromises, such as a good-enough processor, average cameras, and software that aged quickly. Fortunately, things are quite different in 2026.</p>

<p>Phones in this segment now come with bright OLED displays, capable chipsets, and batteries that comfortably last a full day. Some even borrow features from devices that cost twice as much.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Here are the five best smartphones under $500 in March 2026.</p>

<h3><strong>Google Pixel 10a</strong></h3>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google</a>’s Pixel A-series has long been the go-to option for people who want a simple Android phone that just works. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10a/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10a </a>continues that trend.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Like previous models in the series, the phone focuses heavily on software and camera processing. The camera hardware itself is relatively modest compared to competitors in this list, but Google’s image processing tends to make up for it.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Google-Pixel-10a-launch-specs-price.jpg?x44794" alt="Google-Pixel-10a-launch-specs-price" class="wp-image-727431" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Google-Pixel-10a-launch-specs-price.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Google-Pixel-10a-launch-specs-price-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Google-Pixel-10a-launch-specs-price-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Google-Pixel-10a-launch-specs-price-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Google-Pixel-10a-launch-specs-price-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Pixel 10a also benefits from Google’s version of Android, which is clean and free of unnecessary extras. The display is a 120Hz OLED panel with a sufficient 2000 nits of brightness.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, Google is still using a year-old Tensor G4 chip under the hood. The rest of the Pixel 10 phones have a better Tensor G5 processor. That said, it can handle regular everyday tasks with ease.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The phone has a 5100mAh Li-Po battery with 30W wired, PD 3.0, and 10W wireless charging support.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For many buyers, the Pixel 10a is still the safe choice under $500. It’s not designed to stand out in every category, but it avoids major weaknesses.</p>

<h3><strong>Nothing Phone (4a) Pro</strong></h3>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/nothing-phone-4a-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Phone (4a) Pro </a>is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/nothing/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Nothin</a>g’s brand new option for a phone under $500. It keeps the company’s recognizable design language while trying to feel more polished than earlier models.</p>

<p>The phone includes a new Glyph Matrix on the back, which is a circular LED display made up of 137 LEDs. It can show things like a timer, a stopwatch, and such.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Nothing-Phone-4a-Pro-launch-specs-price.jpg?x44794" alt="Nothing-Phone-4a-Pro-launch-specs-price" class="wp-image-729636" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Nothing-Phone-4a-Pro-launch-specs-price.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Nothing-Phone-4a-Pro-launch-specs-price-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Nothing-Phone-4a-Pro-launch-specs-price-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Nothing-Phone-4a-Pro-launch-specs-price-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Nothing-Phone-4a-Pro-launch-specs-price-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Under the surface, the Phone (4a) Pro runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and features a 6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with 5000 nits of peak brightness.</p>

<p>As for the camera system, you get a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor for the main camera with optical image stabilization. This is paired with a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope camera offering 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nothing’s software is also fairly clean, which helps the phone feel responsive. The Phone (4a) Pro is not the most powerful option here, but it’s arguably the one with the most personality.</p>

<h3><strong>OnePlus 15R</strong></h3>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus</a> has traditionally used its “R” series to deliver strong performance at lower prices, and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-15r/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">15R </a>follows the same idea.</p>

<p>The phone focuses on two things: speed and battery life. It runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 paired with a dedicated chip that enables 3200Hz of touch sampling rate.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking of which, it has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that refreshes at 165Hz. This screen is also PWM capable, HDR 10+, and Dolby Vision certified with a peak brightness of 3600 nits.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06-1024x768.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus 15R" class="wp-image-721586" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_06.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Its biggest highlight, though, is the battery. The 15R includes a 7400mAh battery that can comfortably last through a full day and often stretch into a second day depending on usage. It supports 80W fast charging.&nbsp;</p>

<p>You also get a fairly decent camera specs of 50MP-megapixel Sony IMX906 main sensor with optical image stabilization, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. There is no dedicated telephoto camera here, so zoom relies on digital cropping.</p>

<h3><strong>Motorola Edge 70 Fusion</strong></h3>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Motorola</a>’s Edge Fusion series has quietly become one of the more balanced options in the midrange market. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/motorola-edge-70-fusion/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Edge 70 Fusion </a>continues that pattern.</p>

<p>Rather than focusing on one standout feature, the phone aims for overall balance. It includes a capable Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, a smooth6.78-inch curved OLED display, and a relatively clean version of Android 16.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The device carries a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 68W fast charging, which the company claims can provide a full day’s usage with a short charge.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="571" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-green-1-1024x571.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-729192" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-green-1-1024x571.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-green-1-300x167.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-green-1-768x428.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-green-1-696x388.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-green-1-1068x595.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-green-1-753x420.jpg 753w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-green-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Its camera hardware includes a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 710 primary camera with optical image stabilisation. The setup also includes a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera with macro support and a dedicated light sensor.</p>

<p>The Edge 70 Fusion is the most affordable option on this list. Its 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 26,999 (~$300), the 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs 29,999 (~$330), and the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 32,999 (~$360).&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Realme 16 Pro</strong></h3>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/realme/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme</a> often competes in the midrange market by focusing on big numbers in the spec sheet, and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-16-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">16 Pro</a> is no different.</p>

<p>One of the first things you notice is the battery. The phone includes a 700mAh battery, which can easily last more than a day with moderate use. It supports 80W wired charging.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-16-Pro-1-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>On the front, it has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach a whopping 6500 nits of peak brightness and is protected by AGC DT Star D+ glass.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Cameras include a 200MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide on the back. The front has a 50MP selfie camera. Powering everything is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G chipset with an Arm Mali G615 GPU. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, and all standard sensors.</p>

<h3><strong>The midrange market keeps getting better</strong></h3>

<p>Looking at these five phones together shows how much the midrange segment has evolved. Not long ago, phones under $500 required obvious compromises, slower processors, weaker cameras, or short software support.</p>

<p>That’s no longer always the case.</p>

<p>The Google Pixel 10a focuses on software and camera reliability. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro offers a design that stands apart from typical smartphones. The OnePlus 15R leans into performance and battery life. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion delivers a balanced experience. And the Realme 16 Pro emphasizes large batteries and strong hardware specs.</p>

<p>None of them is perfect, but each one has a different interpretation of what a sub-$500 smartphone should be. Now, it&#8217;s up to you to decide which of these phones could be worth it for your money.</p>

The India model is also confirmed to include a significantly larger 7,000mAh battery and is launching on March 6. <p>For imaging, the phone features a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 main sensor with OIS, accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens with macro support. <p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola">Motorola</a> is all set to announce the Edge 70 Fusion <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/28/motorola-edge-70-fusion-india-launch-march-6/">on March 6 in India</a>. While the initial Flipkart teaser page kept specifications under wraps, the updated listing has now disclosed important hardware and software details, offering a clearer idea of what to expect from the upcoming smartphone.</p>

<h3><strong>Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and long-term software commitment confirmed</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="980" height="687" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image.jpeg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-729142" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image.jpeg 980w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-300x210.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-768x538.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-696x488.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-599x420.jpeg 599w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-100x70.jpeg 100w" sizes="(max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px" /></figure></div>

<p>The refreshed Flipkart page confirms that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/motorola-edge-70-fusion">Motorola Edge 70 Fusion</a> will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-7s-gen-4">Snapdragon 7s Gen 4</a> chipset. The device will ship with Android 16 layered with Hello UX. Motorola has also committed to three major Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates, which effectively means support up to Android 19.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="739" height="597" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-13.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-729140" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-13.png 739w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-13-300x242.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-13-696x562.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-13-520x420.png 520w" sizes="(max-width: 739px) 100vw, 739px" /></figure></div>

<p>The handset will come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with Gorilla Glass 7i protection for the display and MIL-STD-810H certification for durability. Other confirmed features include NFC and Bluetooth 6.0 support. With these additions, the Edge 70 Fusion appears to be positioned as a well-rounded mid-premium offering rather than just a performance-focused device.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="742" height="641" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-14.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-729141" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-14.png 742w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-14-300x259.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-14-696x601.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-14-486x420.png 486w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-14-534x462.png 534w" sizes="(max-width: 742px) 100vw, 742px" /></figure></div>

<p>Motorola has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/23/motorola-edge-70-fusion-march-launch-key-details-confirmed/">already confirmed</a> several hardware highlights of the Edge 70 Fusion. It is said to be the world’s first smartphone to feature an OIS-enabled Sony LYT-710 50-megapixel primary camera. The brand claims improved low-light photography and better highlight control in videos. A 32-megapixel front camera will handle selfies, and all cameras are confirmed to support 4K video recording.</p>

<p>On the front, the device will feature a quad-curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is rated for up to 5200 nits peak brightness and offers 96.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, along with HDR10+, SGS eye protection and Smart Water Touch 3.0 support.</p>

<p>The Edge 70 Fusion will pack a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 68W fast charging, while maintaining a slim 7.99mm profile. It will be offered in Country Air, Blue Surf and Silhouette colour options.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Motorola</a> has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Edge series smartphone in India. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will launch on March 6 at 12 pm IST. After the announcement, the device will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Motorola’s official website.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/HCEqjmlboAAELaH-1024x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Motorola Edge 70 Fusion" class="wp-image-728901" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/HCEqjmlboAAELaH-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/HCEqjmlboAAELaH-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/HCEqjmlboAAELaH-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/HCEqjmlboAAELaH-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/HCEqjmlboAAELaH-696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/HCEqjmlboAAELaH-1068x1068.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/HCEqjmlboAAELaH-420x420.jpg 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/HCEqjmlboAAELaH.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The smartphone is positioned as the most affordable model in the Edge 70 lineup. While official pricing has not been announced yet, expectations suggest a starting price below ₹25,000, placing it slightly under the Motorola Edge 70. Ahead of the India launch, the device is also scheduled to make its global debut on March 2 before MWC 2026 in Barcelona.</p>

<p>In terms of cameras, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/23/motorola-edge-70-fusion-march-launch-key-details-confirmed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">will feature a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary sensor</a> with Moto AI enhancements. It will be paired with a 13MP ultrawide camera that also supports macro and depth functions. Motorola states that the cameras are Pantone validated for more accurate color and skin tone reproduction. On the front, the phone will include a 32MP selfie camera for photos and video calls. The company has confirmed that all cameras, including the front sensor, will support 4K video recording.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="755" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-115-1024x755.png?x44794" alt="Motorola Edge 70 Fusion color options" class="wp-image-727963" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-115-1024x755.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-115-300x221.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-115-768x566.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-115-696x513.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-115-1068x788.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-115-570x420.png 570w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-115-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-115.png 1093w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Motorola Edge 70 Fusion color options</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The device will be powered by a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 68W wired fast charging. Despite the large battery capacity, Motorola claims the phone will maintain a slim profile with a thickness of 7.99mm.</p>

<p>The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is expected to offer durability features, including IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. The handset will also come in Pantone-curated color options: Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Silhouette. The rear panel will use a fabric-style finish designed to provide a premium in-hand feel.</p>

<p>Although not officially confirmed, the smartphone is expected to run on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/20/motorola-edge-70-fusion-snapdragon-7s-gen-4-specs-colors-leak/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset</a>. More details, including pricing and full specifications, will be revealed at launch.</p>

<p>If you have any of these Motorola smartphones and live in a supported region, you can sign up for the Android 17 beta program to get early access to the latest features and upgrades. However, that also means you’re ready to face bugs or broken features that may appear in beta builds.</p>

<h2>Here’s how to sign up for Motorola’s Android 17 beta program</h2>

<ol><li>Create an account on<a href="https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Forum-Feedback/How-to-register-sign-up-for-the-Motorola-Community/m-p/5256361" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;Motorola’s community website</a>&nbsp;(if you haven’t already).</li><li>Visit the profile page and update your IMEI or serial number (SN) details.</li><li>Opt in for MFN on your Motorola community profile.</li><li>Always ensure that your phone is running the latest software.</li><li>Go to the<a href="https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/MFN-Beta-Testing/ct-p/MFN_Beta_Testing_Category_en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;MFN Beta Testing Opportunities page</a>&nbsp;to see a testing opportunity for your Motorola device.</li><li>Tap on the registration link for your Motorola phone.</li><li>Fill in the required details and submit your application.</li></ol>

<p>Please keep in mind that Motorola may send emails regarding your beta application. So, remember to check your inbox regularly, including the spam folder.</p>

<p>Once your beta application is approved, you’ll receive an OTA update. It’s best to manually check for updates once in a while by navigating to <em>Settings &gt; System updates &gt; Check for updates</em>.</p>

<p>While the Android 17 beta program has gone live for several Motorola phones, the update rollout is yet to begin. Once that happens, we’ll learn about the new features and changes. For now, users can expect to see Material 3 Expressive enhancements, Live Notification updates, and a redesigned desktop mode, among many changes.</p>

<h3>1. Honor Magic V6 and Robot Phone</h3>

<p><strong>Launch date: March 1, 2026</strong></p>

<p><strong>Honor Magic V6</strong></p>

<p>Honor Magic V6 is the company’s next-generation foldable smartphone, focusing on enhanced durability, higher battery capacity, and an even slimmer design profile.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/honor-Magic-V6-red-images-1-1.png?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/honor-Magic-V6-red-images-1-1.png?x44794" alt="honor Magic V6" class="wp-image-728354" width="416" height="407" /><figcaption>honor Magic V6 </figcaption></figure></div></a></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/honor-magic-v6/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Magic V6</a> is expected to feature a 200MP primary camera and a 7,150mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The brand claims full-level waterproofing and support for Beidou satellite communication. Recent leaks say the Magic V6 could feature Honor’s self-developed C1+ radio frequency enhancement chip and the E2 energy efficiency enhancement chip.</p>

<p><strong>Honor Robot Phone</strong></p>

<p>Alongside the Magic V6 foldable phone, Honor will also unveil the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/honor-robot-phone/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Honor Robot Phone</a> at the MWC event on March 1. The company offered a sneak peek of the device at CES 2026 in January 2026, and we’ll soon have the complete picture.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Honor-Robot-Phone.jpg?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Honor-Robot-Phone.jpg?x44794" alt="Honor-Robot-Phone" class="wp-image-711011" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Honor-Robot-Phone.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Honor-Robot-Phone-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Honor-Robot-Phone-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Honor-Robot-Phone-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Honor-Robot-Phone-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></a></div>

<p>Honor calls it the industry’s first “robot phone,” featuring a hidden robotic-arm gimbal that deploys with a single tap. This allows the phone to physically move for automatic composition, subject tracking, and enhanced stabilization, claimed by the brand.</p>

<p>The Honor Robot Phone integrates a powerful AI system that can see and respond in real time. The company says it can proactively suggest content, coordinate with other devices across its ecosystem, and function as a digital assistant that feels more personal and context-aware.</p>

<h3>3. Apple iPhone 17e</h3>

<p><strong>Launch date: March 4, 2026 (unconfirmed)</strong></p>

<p>Apple is expected to unveil the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iphone-17e/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iPhone 17e</a>, along with a bunch of Other products, at the upcoming event on March 4. The device is expected to feature the A19 chip, the same chip powering the iPhone 17, but could have a downclocked CPU and GPU. It’s also said to bring an upgraded display engine, ISP, and Neural Engine to improve the on-device AI performance.</p>

<p>iPhone 17e could get a MagSafe upgrade, boosting charging speed to at least 15W. Furthermore, we might also see an upgraded Apple’s C1X modem. The iPhone 17e will likely retain the same display, camera, and design as the 16e.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola/">Motorola</a> has started teasing its next Edge series phone in India, and all signs point to the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Fusion.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1022" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184836-1022x1024.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-727768" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184836-1022x1024.png 1022w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184836-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184836-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184836-768x769.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184836-696x697.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184836-1068x1070.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184836-419x420.png 419w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184836.png 1196w" sizes="(max-width: 1022px) 100vw, 1022px" /></figure></div>

<p>The company hasn’t explicitly named the device in its initial X posts, but the hints are hard to miss. One teaser cleverly played around with the word “fusion,” alongside images of a new handset in bright, textured finishes. Shortly after, Flipkart went live with a dedicated promo page carrying the tagline, “a fusion that gives you the edge.” At that point, the identity was pretty clear.</p>

<h2>Color options confirmed</h2>

<p>Flipkart’s microsite confirms three color options for India: Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Silhouette. All three appear to feature Motorola’s now-familiar leather-inspired textured back, which has become a signature look for the brand’s recent Edge devices.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="626" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184439-1024x626.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-727770" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184439-1024x626.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184439-300x184.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184439-768x470.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184439-696x426.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184439-1068x653.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184439-687x420.jpg 687w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Screenshot-2026-02-21-184439.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Earlier global leaks suggested as many as five Pantone shades, including Orient Blue and Sporting Green, but it looks like India may be getting a trimmed-down selection at launch.</p>

<p>The overall design sticks to Motorola’s recent formula: curved display edges, slim bezels, and a distinct camera module that blends into the back panel.</p>

<p>One confirmed detail is the presence of a “LYTIA camera,” which likely refers to a Sony LYTIA sensor. Leaks suggest the main camera could be a 50MP unit, with improved low-light performance.</p>

<p>As for the processor, earlier rumors pointed toward the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. However, more recent leaks, including <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/20/motorola-edge-70-fusion-snapdragon-7s-gen-4-specs-colors-leak/">marketing renders</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/23/motorola-edge-70-fusion-geekbench-snapdragon-7s-gen4-android-16/">benchmark listings</a>, suggest the phone may instead use the newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. If true, that would bring <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/20/snapdragon-7s-gen-4-launched/">modest CPU and GPU improvements</a>, along with better efficiency compared to the previous generation.</p>

<p>The rest of the spec sheet hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but leaks paint a fairly ambitious mid-range picture. The Edge 70 Fusion is rumored to pack:</p>

<ul><li>A massive 7,000mAh battery</li><li>68W fast charging</li><li>A 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate</li><li>Up to 12GB RAM</li><li>Android 16 out of the box</li></ul>

<h2>Launch timeline</h2>

<p>Flipkart has promised more details on February 23, while subtle hints in the promo page URL suggest February 26 could be a key date — possibly for launch or availability. Motorola hasn’t officially confirmed the timeline yet.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Motorola</a> is preparing to launch its first Edge-series smartphone of 2026, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/motorola-edge-70-fusion/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Motorola Edge 70 Fusion</a>. The device was first revealed through renders last month, followed by additional marketing images shared by leakster Evan Blass. New marketing materials have now surfaced (via Ytechb), confirming key specifications that were previously unclear, including the processor.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-2-768x43-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Motorola Edge 70 Fusion" class="wp-image-727595" width="985" height="554" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-2-768x43-1.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-2-768x43-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-2-768x43-1-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-2-768x43-1-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 985px) 100vw, 985px" /></figure></div>

<p>According to the latest images, the Edge 70 Fusion will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, resolving earlier confusion caused by a leaked spec sheet that suggested Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. The phone will launch with 12GB RAM, alongside an 8GB variant. Motorola will offer the device in five color options: Blue Surf, Country Air, Orient Blue, Sporting Green, and Silhouette.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Snapdrag.jpg?x44794" alt="Motorola Edge 70 Fusion" class="wp-image-727593" width="630" height="710" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Snapdrag.jpg 444w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Snapdrag-266x300.jpg 266w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Snapdrag-373x420.jpg 373w" sizes="(max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px" /></figure></div>

<p>The smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It will also carry IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance, positioning it as a durable mid-range option.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-1-768x43-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Motorola Edge 70 Fusion" class="wp-image-727594" width="946" height="532" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-1-768x43-1.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-1-768x43-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-1-768x43-1-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-1-768x43-1-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 946px) 100vw, 946px" /></figure></div>

<p>Earlier coverage provided <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/11/motorola-edge-70-fusion-new-renders-five-color-options-leak/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">additional context</a> about the device’s design and rumored hardware. Previous leaks showcased the Edge 70 Fusion in Silhouette and Country Air finishes before new renders revealed Blue Surf, Orient Blue, and Sporting Green. The design follows Motorola’s familiar Edge-series language, including the signature rear camera module and a textured back panel inspired by nylon and linen materials. Despite a large battery, the phone appears relatively slim, suggesting a focus on ergonomics.</p>

<p>Previous specs leak claim that the 6.78-inch display will have a peak brightness of up to 5,200 nits. Camera hardware could offer a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA primary sensor and a 32-megapixel front camera. The phone is also expected to pack a large 7,000mAh battery with 68W charging, run Android 16 out of the box, and include MIL-STD-810H durability certification alongside IP68 and IP69 ratings.</p>

<p>In January, well-known tipster Evan Blass shared the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/20/motorola-edge-70-fusion-ful-specifications-leaked/">key specifications</a> of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. Later, another report surfaced to showcase the phone in <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/27/motorola-edge-70-fusion-design-renders-specs/">Silhouette (Black) and Country Air shades</a>. Now, Blass is back again with a fresh set of images that showcase the phone in as many as five color options.</p>

<h3><strong>New renders highlight design and colour options</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="911" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Evan-Blass-leak-911x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Motorola Edge 70 Fusion color options " class="wp-image-726623" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Evan-Blass-leak-911x1024.jpg 911w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Evan-Blass-leak-267x300.jpg 267w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Evan-Blass-leak-768x863.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Evan-Blass-leak-696x782.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Evan-Blass-leak-374x420.jpg 374w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Evan-Blass-leak.jpg 1009w" sizes="(max-width: 911px) 100vw, 911px" /><figcaption>Motorola Edge 70 Fusion color options </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The latest set of images showcases the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola">Motorola</a> Edge 70 Fusion in other paintjobs, such as Blue Surf, Orient Blue, and Sporting Green. The renders indicate a familiar design language as the Edge 70, including Motorola’s signature rear camera layout and a textured back panel inspired by nylon and linen materials. The device appears relatively slim despite housing a large battery, suggesting that Motorola may be focusing on balancing ergonomics with endurance.</p>

<p>Promotional images accompanying the leak provide a clearer look at the curved edges and quad-curved display profile. While the overall aesthetic resembles earlier Edge series models, the updated finishes and materials give the device a slightly refreshed appearance. The smartphone is also expected to retain a premium design approach without moving into flagship pricing territory.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/motorola-edge-70-fusion">Motorola Edge 70 Fusion</a> is rumoured to feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and peak brightness reaching up to 5,200 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. It could be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-7s-gen-3">Snapdragon 7s Gen 3</a> chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.</p>

<p>The handset may include a 50-megapixel primary camera using a Sony LYTIA sensor alongside a 32-megapixel front camera. It will house a large 7,000mAh battery with 68W charging support, Android 16 out of the box, IP68 and IP69 ratings, and MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.</p>

<p>Although pricing details remain unclear, the emergence of marketing materials indicates that the Edge 70 Fusion could be unveiled in the near future, likely targeting markets where previous Fusion models were available.</p>

Apple could also unveil the iPhone 17e in the same month.</p>

<p>If you’re planning an upgrade, these upcoming smartphones are worth paying attention to. Please note that some launches are already confirmed, while others have been added to the list based on strong leaks. The launch details for those devices should be announced officially in early February.</p>

<h2>Upcoming smartphone launches in February 2026</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-series-renders-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-715491" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-series-renders-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-series-renders-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-series-renders-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-series-renders-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-series-renders-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-series-renders-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-series-renders-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Samsung-Galaxy-S26-series-renders.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Galaxy S26 series render</figcaption></figure>

<h3>1. Samsung Galaxy S26 series</h3>

<p><strong>Launch date:</strong> February 25, 2026 (expected)</p>

<p>This is one of the most anticipated smartphone launches of 2026. While the official launch date is still under wraps, strong leaks suggest a February 25 launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event.</p>

<p>The company will unveil the main trio at the upcoming event: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The remaining models, such as the Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy S25 FE, if planned, may launch later this year.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-1024x683.jpg?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-709900" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Galaxy-S26-Ultra-color-options.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Galaxy S26 Ultra color options (leaked image)</figcaption></figure></a></div>

<p>Based on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-s26/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">past leaks</a>, we aren’t expecting significant upgrades to the Galaxy S26 series, but refinements across display, camera hardware, and bigger batteries. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ will reportedly feature the Exynos 2600 in some markets, including India, while the S26 Ultra will only come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. These will be the first phones to run One UI 8.5 software, based on Android 16.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15-Ultra-color.png?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="960" height="499" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15-Ultra-color.png?x44794" alt="iQOO 15 Ultra" class="wp-image-724465" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15-Ultra-color.png 960w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15-Ultra-color-300x156.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15-Ultra-color-768x399.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15-Ultra-color-696x362.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15-Ultra-color-808x420.png 808w" sizes="(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px" /><figcaption>iQOO 15 Ultra </figcaption></figure></a></div>

<h3>2. iQOO 15 Ultra, 15R</h3>

<ul><li><strong>Launch date (iQOO 15 Ultra):</strong> February 4, 2026 — China</li><li><strong>Launch date (iQOO 15R):</strong> February 24, 2026 — India</li></ul>

<p>iQOO will unveil its top-tier <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo-15-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO 15 Ultra</a> in China in the first week of February. The phone is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a large LTPO AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, and three 50MP sensors on the back. It could house a 7,400mAh battery capacity with 100W wireless charging support. Some leaks say the wired charging speed could be up to 200W.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-1024x640.png?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="iQOO 15R" class="wp-image-724885" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/iQOO-15R.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>iQOO 15R</figcaption></figure></a></div>

<p>The leaked spec sheet for the iQOO 15 Ultra sounds pretty powerful, so I’m excited to see how it performs in real life. <p>Exactly a week ago, a report revealed <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/20/motorola-edge-70-fusion-ful-specifications-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">everything we need to know </a>about the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. The only thing it was short on was renders, but that gap has now been filled by a new report offering our first look at the company’s next mid-range phone.</p>

<h2><strong>First look at the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion</strong></h2>

<p>The images shared by <em><a href="https://www.ytechb.com/exclusive-this-is-your-first-look-at-motorola-edge-70-fusion-renders/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">YTECHB</a></em> show the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in Silhouette (Black) and Country Air shades. However, the phone will be available in three more color options: Blue Sirf, Orient Blue, and Sporting Green.</p>

<p>As you can expect from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/motorola/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Motorola</a>, all of these are Pantone-validated colors and are said to feature a nylon- and linen-inspired back panel.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Design-and-Render.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-724825" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Design-and-Render.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Design-and-Render-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Design-and-Render-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Design-and-Render-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Design-and-Render-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Visually, the Edge 70 Fusion doesn’t look drastically different from its predecessor. That said, the camera module now features a glossy surface, and the Silhouette variant sports a gold-accented frame around it. On the front, the phone has minimal bezels and a hole-punch cutout for selfies.</p>

<h2><strong>Motorola Edge 70 Fusion specs</strong></h2>

<p>On the specs side, the Edge 70 Fusion is said to sport a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 5,200 nits of peak brightness, along with HDR10+ support. The front camera is reportedly a 32MP sensor, while the back houses a 50MP triple-camera setup.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Render-1.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-724826" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Render-1.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Render-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Render-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Render-1-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Render-1-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Under the hood, Motorola is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Storage configurations are tipped to include 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage and a higher-end 12GB + 256GB option. The phone is also expected to ship with Android 16, layered with Motorola’s Hello UX, and receive up to three years of OS updates.</p>

<p>Rounding things out is a notably large 7,000mAh battery, paired with support for 68W fast charging.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="495" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Geekbench.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-724603" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Geekbench.jpg 495w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Geekbench-248x300.jpg 248w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Motorola-Edge-70-Fusion-Geekbench-347x420.jpg 347w" sizes="(max-width: 495px) 100vw, 495px" /></figure></div>

<p>The configuration matches that of Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, but a recent leak claims the phone features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 instead. So for now, the exact chip remains unconfirmed, but it’s clear Motorola is sticking with a Snapdragon platform.</p>

<p>Geekbench also lists 11.14GB of RAM, which strongly suggests a 12GB RAM variant will be available at launch. Previous leak also suggests Motorola will be offering the phone in 8GB variant, both paired with 256GB of internal storage.</p>

<h2><strong>Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Specs (Expected)</strong></h2>

<p>Beyond performance, the Edge 70 Fusion is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. On the camera side, the phone is expected to use a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA sensor for the main camera, along with a 32-megapixel front-facing shooter.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Screenshot-2025-04-02-152730.png?x44794" alt="" /><figcaption>Motorola Edge 60 F</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Fueling the phone is a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging. It’s also said to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H certification.</p>

<p>Motorola is also expected to promise three years of Android updates for the Edge 70 Fusion. Color options may include Blue Surf, Country Air, Orient Blue, Sporting Green, and Silhouette.</p>
