OnePlus is set to unveil a new lineup of smartphones that will carry the Turbo branding. These are devices that balance high end performance with budget pricing and exceptional battery life. But ahead of the official release, the pre-orders for the OnePlus Turbo have gone live. So here’s all the benefits, and everything you can expect from this phone.

OnePlus Turbo Pre-orders: What do you get?

The brand has opened the pre-orders for customs in China. Those who pre-order and purchase a small add-on package will receive a bunch of rewards. These include services and physical gifts. You receive a Never Settle branded backpack, which is designed for outdoor use. Alongside this, early buyers get a 1 year long iQiyi Gold membership card that offers access to the free streaming platform. Other perks include 1 year of extended warranty and two years battery protection plan. The launch date, unfortunately, is still at large, but rumors hint at a January launch window.

Rumored Specifications

Based on what we know so far, the OnePlus Turbo is expected to sport a 6.78-inch flat LTPS OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, an AnTuTu listing confirmed that the device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC.

This chip is believed to be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. A massive 9,000mAh battery could power this device, which likely offers high end fast charging support. Other specifications include a metal middle frame and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The brand could release this device in multiple color options, namely Unique Black, Ocean Green, and Light Chaser Silver.

Design-wise, the OnePlus Turbo (codenamed Prado) reportedly sticks to a familiar layout with a rear camera module positioned in the upper-left corner. The phone is said to use a glossy plastic back, hinting at aggressive pricing for markets like India. Two color options are currently being tested, a greenish blue shade and a standard black finish.

According to information shared by Android Headlines, this device is expected to debut in China first. Outside China, it is likely to arrive under the Nord branding, following OnePlus’ existing regional strategy. The device is said to feature a massive 9,000mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging, positioning it well above typical mid-range phones in terms of endurance.

The display is another area where the Turbo appears to stand out. Leaks point to a 6.8-inch flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, running OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. Camera specifications include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

While OnePlus has not confirmed a launch date, current leaks suggest a March 2026 debut, possibly around Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

As seen in the listing, an upcoming OnePlus phone meant for the Chinese market, bearing the model number PLU110, has surfaced on Geekbench. The benchmark data reveals that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. This has been deduced based on the CPU and GPU details available in the Geekbench metadata.

The listing further reveals that the device is equipped with 12GB of RAM and runs Android 16. The handset has also managed to score in both the single-core and multi-core tests.

Previous reports have already claimed that the upcoming OnePlus Turbo will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Therefore, it is likely that the model number PLU110 is associated with the OnePlus Turbo. Rumours surrounding the device suggest that it will feature an OLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and a massive 9,000mAh battery.

In related news, tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed that an upcoming OnePlus phone codenamed “Volkswagen” will also feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. He added that this device could pack a 9,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and a 6.xx-inch OLED display offering a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.

The said device is expected to launch in global markets, including India. While the tipster has not revealed the official name, it could be a rebranded or slightly tweaked version of the OnePlus Turbo. More clarity is expected as additional reports surface in the coming days.

OnePlus is planning on launching a brand new lineup of smartphones for the global market. The recent teasers have hinted at the new Turbo lineup arriving soon. And now, a fresh benchmark listing has revealed some of the capable hardware that will power a OnePlus Turbo series model.

OnePlus Turbo Expected Specifications

The Chinese brand’s upcoming OnePlus Turbo lineup will apparently be another performance focused model with an affordable price tag, similar to the OnePlus 15R. On the GeekBench platform, the supposed Turbo phone was spotted with the PLU110 model number. This device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, which helped it achieve a single core result of 2,124 points and 6,880 points on the multi core test.

OnePlus Ace 6

Looking at the benchmark listing, we can see that the chip is paired with up to 16GB of RAM. GeekBench also revealed that the device runs on the Android 16 OS out of the box, which will carry the brand’s OxygenOS 16 custom skin. This is in line with one of our recent reports. Based on what we know so far, we can also expect a massive 9000mAh battery pack that will have a dual cell design.

Meanwhile, the front will likely sport a tall display with a 165Hz refresh rate. To recall, OnePlus’ President had previously revealed that the Turbo series will deliver powerful performance and battery life for its segment, positioning it directly against similarly priced performance-centric phones. But this is all the information we have at the moment, so stick around for more.

OnePlus recently confirmed that it will soon unveil a new series called the OnePlus Turbo. Expected to arrive in January 2026, the lineup will include performance-focused phones that will rival Turbo-branded devices from other brands. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed the key specifications of an upcoming OnePlus Turbo model.

OnePlus Turbo key specifications tipped

OnePlus Turbo key specs tipped

According to tipster DCS, the OnePlus Turbo will be the first device within the Oppo–OnePlus ecosystem (Ouga group) to feature a 9,000mAh-class battery, paired with a dual-cell design. This move is said to signal a wider shift, with performance-oriented phones entering an era of ultra-large batteries.

The tipster adds that the formula of an 8-series chipset, a 9-series battery, and a 165Hz display makes for a “perfect Turbo,” positioning the device as especially appealing to users who prioritize battery endurance. Some reports have claimed that this device would be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

To recall, OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis recently said that the OnePlus Turbo will inherit the brand’s flagship-level performance DNA while delivering class-leading battery life, bringing gaming experiences previously unseen in its price segment. He further claimed that the Turbo series aims to be “exceptionally strong” in both performance and endurance within its category.

At present, the Ace 6T, which debuted with an 8,300mAh battery earlier this month in China, holds the title of the largest-battery phone from OnePlus. It appears that the OnePlus Turbo will soon take over this title. Some vague reports claim that this device may get rebranded as a OnePlus Nord 6 series phone in the global market, but it is advisable to wait for further reports.

According to DCS, the OnePlus Turbo series will introduce a newly developed native 165Hz refresh rate display. This panel is said to be exclusive within its price category and has reportedly been redesigned with larger rounded corners for improved visual consistency. Unlike previously used high-refresh panels, this screen is believed to be a fresh implementation rather than a reused solution.

The device is tipped to run on a Snapdragon 8-series chipset, with several reports pointing towards a customised Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 variant, also referred to as a performance-tuned version. Built on a 4nm process, the platform is said to work alongside OnePlus’ in-house gaming optimization engine, enabling better thermal control and more stable output during extended gaming sessions.

Other reports indicate that the phone may pack a battery close to the 9,000mAh range, a figure rarely seen in performance-focused smartphones. OnePlus President has previously hinted that the Turbo series will deliver unusually strong performance and battery life for its segment, positioning it directly against similarly priced performance-centric phones.

OnePlus Turbo series has officially entered the conversation after fresh confirmation from the brand’s top leadership in China. What began as speculation around a new product line a couple of months ago has now taken a clearer shape, with early hints pointing towards a strong focus on performance and battery life. While the company has not shared full specifications yet, the official statement gives an idea of what OnePlus is aiming to achieve with this upcoming lineup.

OnePlus Turbo series: What to expect?

OnePlus Ace 6T

OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis confirmed the arrival of the all-new OnePlus Turbo series during the brand’s 12th anniversary event. He stated that the new series will carry forward OnePlus’ flagship performance DNA while pushing battery endurance to the top of its segment.

According to him, the Turbo lineup is being developed to deliver a level of gaming experience rarely seen at its expected price positioning. He also highlighted that OnePlus recorded over 40 percent year-on-year growth in 2025, largely driven by its focus on performance and gaming-oriented users, especially younger buyers.

Li Jie further shared that OnePlus would continue exploring the upper limits of gaming performance in 2026, and the Turbo series is part of a broader refresh of the brand’s product portfolio.

Tipster Digital Chat Station recently added clarity, claiming that OnePlus’ new mid-range Turbo series is already in advanced testing. The new series is reportedly being prepared to launch ahead of rival Turbo-branded devices. According to the leak, the series will bring down flagship-level capabilities to the mid-range, particularly in performance and battery life.

Industry chatter suggests that upcoming Turbo models could be powered by platforms such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 or customised Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 variants. Battery capacity is expected to be a major highlight, with claims pointing towards a 9,000mAh-class unit.

Displays are tipped to be 1.5K panels, with higher-end versions possibly featuring metal frames and ultrasonic fingerprint sensors. Reports also suggest that the brand may also release a Turbo-branded tablet in the near future.

As competition heats up before the Chinese New Year, the OnePlus Turbo series looks set to play an aggressive role in the mid-range performance segment. Some reports suggest that the Turbo series may go official by the end of this year or in January 2026.

OnePlus Turbo key specifications revealed

In the above leak, DCS has mentioned the dual-cell batteries that will power the upcoming OnePlus phones. These include a 7,300mAh battery, a 7,650mAh unit, and a 7,800mAh battery, and all three support 100W fast charging.

While DCS did not specify the names of these phones, the devices that are expected to pack 7,300mAh and 7,800mAh batteries are the OnePlus 15 and Ace 5, which are expected to launch this month in China. These phones will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, respectively.

The one that’s expected to include a 7,650mAh battery could be the OnePlus Turbo. He added that all three phones are equipped with an OLED panel that supports a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. While the OnePlus 15 is confirmed to feature a BOE X3 OLED screen, there is a possibility that the other two phones could feature a Tianma panel.

As far as the chipset is concerned, the OnePlus Turbo is expected to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. This chip is officially confirmed to feature a 3.8GHz prime core and 3.32GHz performance cores along with a new Adreno GPU.

OnePlus is currently teasing the arrival of the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6. It is likely that the brand will start revealing details about the OnePlus Turbo next month (November).

OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch the OnePlus Ace 6 and OnePlus 15 next month (October) in China. After unveiling these phones, the company may launch the OnePlus Turbo-branded phone. All three phones are said to be equipped with yet-to-be-unveiled Snapdragon 8 series chipsets.

OnePlus phones to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 8s Gen 4 Pro/Plus

OnePlus’s upcoming phones to feature new Snapdragon 8-series chips

The upcoming OnePlus 15 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (aka Snapdragon 8 Elite 2), which is said to have the model number SM8850. The above leak reveals that OnePlus will launch two phones powered by the new Snapdragon 8-series chipsets. These chipsets have model numbers SM8845 and SM8735 Pro.

OnePlus Ace 6 said to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (SM8845)

For those who don’t know, the SM8845 is expected to carry the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 final marketing name. This chip, according to a previous Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, is expected to power the OnePlus Ace 6. The same chip is expected to power the likes of the Redmi K90, Honor GT 2, and a Realme Neo series phone.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, which debuted earlier this year, has the SM8735 model number. The new leak states that OnePlus will also launch a phone powered by the SM8735 Pro chip. It appears that the SM8735 Pro could be an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Likely, it will be called the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Plus or Pro when it hits the market.

OnePlus is reportedly working on a Turbo-branded smartphone, which may debut before the end of this year. Probably, this phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Plus/Pro chipset.

It seems that tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the key details about the rumored Turbo lineup.

OnePlus 8,000mAh+, 9,000mAh+ battery phones could be in the works

Alleged leak about OnePlus Turbo series

As can be seen above, OnePlus has a mid-range flagship performance-driven phone packed with an 8,000mAh+ battery under testing. The leak also reveals that the brand is also testing a mid-range sub-flagship performance-focused phone.

This seems to align with recent leaks that OnePlus is working on a new Turbo-branded series of performance-focused phones. According to a recent leak, the OnePlus Turbo series is expected to be priced more competitively, making it accessible to a wider range of markets. Despite its lower pricing, the device will reportedly focus on performance tuning to deliver strong performance in the budget segment.

Back in June, DCS said that OnePlus’ new smartphone series will debut by the end of 2025. The lineup is expected to compete with Redmi smartphones, probably the Redmi Turbo lineup. Therefore, the new lineup is expected to be priced at around 2,000 Yuan (~$280).

Meanwhile, the brand is currently busy teasing the arrival of the OnePlus 15. Recently, the brand shared the first camera samples and confirmed that it has ended its collaboration with Hasselblad, and the device will ship with the company’s self-developed DetailMax engine for image optimizations.

A recent leak claimed that the OnePlus 15 will be priced significantly lower and will be more performance-focused. It is expected to compete with the likes of the iQOO 15 and Realme GT 8 Pro in the Chinese market.
