OnePlus is expected to announce the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 flagship phones in October in China. There are speculations that the brand may introduce the OnePlus Turbo series before the end of the year. It seems that tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the key details about the rumored Turbo lineup.
OnePlus 8,000mAh+, 9,000mAh+ battery phones could be in the works
As can be seen above, OnePlus has a mid-range flagship performance-driven phone packed with an 8,000mAh+ battery under testing. The leak also reveals that the brand is also testing a mid-range sub-flagship performance-focused phone.
This seems to align with recent leaks that OnePlus is working on a new Turbo-branded series of performance-focused phones. According to a recent leak, the OnePlus Turbo series is expected to be priced more competitively, making it accessible to a wider range of markets. Despite its lower pricing, the device will reportedly focus on performance tuning to deliver strong performance in the budget segment.
Back in June, DCS said that OnePlus’ new smartphone series will debut by the end of 2025. The lineup is expected to compete with Redmi smartphones, probably the Redmi Turbo lineup. Therefore, the new lineup is expected to be priced at around 2,000 Yuan (~$280).
Meanwhile, the brand is currently busy teasing the arrival of the OnePlus 15. Recently, the brand shared the first camera samples and confirmed that it has ended its collaboration with Hasselblad, and the device will ship with the company’s self-developed DetailMax engine for image optimizations.
A recent leak claimed that the OnePlus 15 will be priced significantly lower and will be more performance-focused. It is expected to compete with the likes of the iQOO 15 and Realme GT 8 Pro in the Chinese market.
